I was just curious about why the WordPress programming limits us to four in a direct posting. Is there an easy way for you to add a font changing option in the comment box? The emphasis is because WordPress again says there is, but hey, WordPress.
I remembered you had remarked on your disappearing comment a while back, so I went looking.
If you go into your comment log and click back to February 20th of this year, the comment that disappeared on you is probably still in the list.
Just click on the garbage can and it will be deleted.
As for “Awaiting for approval,” the Great Prophet Zarquon will have to move his second coming forward a fair bit before “Gotting approval” happens.
I just foolishly didn’t keep track of the number of extras and posted the comment; the result we know.
What I mean by direct posting is your comment and pictures and/or videos (3 maximum) will post without problem; indirect posting is necessary when you want to post more than 3. That requires editing after the initial posting to get the extra ones to post (as I did here).
What I do is use a hole in WordPress’ programming to put any number of U.R.L.s above 3 into a comment. It does require a number of steps though.
I put six items in the spoiler box below (including a simple click-to-run link for the full movie “Attack of the Crab Monsters” and a picture of the cover of the Dolly Parton-James Patterson collaboration “Run, Rose, Run” / number 170 on the waiting list).
If you are at all interested, I’ll do my best to explain the method. As I said to nighthawks, postimage makes things a whole bunch easier.

The book is “Packing For Mars The Curious Science of Life in the Void” by Mary Roach.
I.S.B.N. 978-0-393-06847-4 (hardcover / published in 2010)
She is a science writer who went behind the scenes of all the well known countries which have a space program to learn about the various astronaut selection / training programs for long term space flight , their successes and their failures.
She takes a serious, but lighter look at the darker sides of all the programs, and most importantly succeeds in making every astronaut, cosmonaut, etc. human.
As I said, I’m only 70 pages in but I’ve laughed out loud at some of the things the programs have done, and shaken my head at — They allowed that to happen? — as well as actually learning about some of the testing procedures and locations for them; with a lot more to come.
Mary Roach has published five other books as well, and I’m looking forward to reading some of them.
I LOVE her books. Have read Stiff, Bonk, and Gulp. Fuzz on order at my library. Am planning on getting the rest in the next couple months. She has a refreshing and outrageous take on even the most serious subjects.
There are two reasonably reachable library branches with copies of “Fuzz” available at my local library, I’m off to get one.
I’ll see you all tomorrow.

So I was curious.
After much searching… I discovered that it was taken on Mars.

NASA’s Perseverance Mars rover snapped this view of a hill in Mars’ Jezero Crater called “Santa Cruz” on April 29, 2021, the 68th Martian day, or sol, of the mission.
About 20 inches (50 centimeters) across on average, the boulders in the foreground are among the type of rocks the rover team has named “Ch’al” (the Navajo term for “frog” and pronounced “chesh”).
Composed of multiple images, this enhanced-color mosaic was created using the left- and right-eye views of Perseverance’s Mastcam-Z camera system, merging the scene into a single, wider view.
Santa Cruz hill is a possible eroded remnant of Jezero Crater’s western delta. The hill is about 164 feet (50 meters) tall and was roughly 1.6 miles (2.5 kilometers) east of the rover when the photo was taken, viewed from “Van Zyl Overlook.”
PS… those boulders are way smaller than I thought.

Win-win.

Good one, Cleo. Pretty sad that she wouldn’t even think Claude did it.
We live in a 55+ neighborhood and there are some that shovel the driveways for those that can’t. The development does the sidewalks. Fortunately, we have a heated driveway ~ best thing EVER!!

Well, somebody sure shovels a lot of something around there.
Remember there have been lakes and rivers, active volcanoes, and tectonic plate movement on Mars. It has very definite geology.

It happened with another lab puppy I knew… whose name happened to be… Buddy.
