The Robot version of King Kong.

Basset hounds, as you know, made the original, classic films
we know and love…

Usually humans made very close (some say rip-off) copies, soon after.

But people aren’t the only ones who have their own versions …

Other dog breeds, sometimes cats, and various other cultures have made copydog versions of many movies as well…

including Robots.

King Robot-Kong” stars Fake Ray, Robot Armstrong, and Bruce Robot.

The information below comes from     HERE.

NASA’s Perseverance Mars rover used its Mastcam-Z camera system to shoot video of Phobos,
one of Mars’ two moons, eclipsing the Sun. It’s the most zoomed-in, highest frame-rate observation
of a Phobos solar eclipse ever taken from the Martian surface.

Several Mars rovers have observed Phobos crossing in front of the Sun over the past 18 years.
Spirit and Opportunity made the first observations back in 2004; Curiosity in 2019 was the first to
record video of the event. Each time these eclipses are observed, they allow scientists to measure
subtle shifts in Phobos’ orbit over time. The moon’s tidal forces pull on the deep interior of the Red
Planet, as well as its crust and mantle; studying how much Phobos shifts over time reveals
something about how resistant the crust and mantle are, and thus what kinds of materials they’re
made of.

The Mars 2020 Perseverance mission is part of NASA’s Moon to Mars exploration approach, which
includes Artemis missions to the Moon that will help prepare for human exploration of the Red
Planet.

Sorry… I did wash my hands of it….
But I guess my desarcastorant isn’t working.

I need to find a stronger brand.

….

The problem is that I prefer a roll-on, and the new ones all seem to be in shtick form.

Like “NoSarcas-Stick.”

You can (try to, anyway) tell Cleo she must not use a cart at Putt-Putt ….

but you cannot tell her she can’t... cos there she is, doing just that.

Fait accompli.

While you’re attempting to make her follow rules… generally a thankless task anyway…

You could try telling her that beverage service is confined to the 19th hole.

You can try telling her anything you like.

those big long earflaps may look like a barrier….

but orders and suggestions still have no problem going in one ear and out the other.

The person who stitched together the video for “Dancing on the Ceiling” did an incredible job of syncing all the clips…

not only to the beat, but often, even to make the action illustrate the particular words in the lyrics at that moment.

If you follow the link at lower right to watch it on YouTube, you can check out the list of clips in the description… dozens and dozens of movies and TV shows, edited to a few seconds each.

Wow.

The video for Woodstock is a real piece of nostalgia, even though I wasn’t at Woodstock… and I was never quite as much of a flower child.

Certain aspects of it I did live though… and the tone of it is genuine, unlike fake “hippie” movies of the 70’s.

….

Talk about “babies.”

We were so optimistic then.

I didn’t do drugs, either… well, hardly enough to rate a mention…

but that didn’t stop me from appreciating this:

This is the only vanilla pudding recipe I have. I find that a bit weird with all the cook books I own. It sounds good though.

From: ;
Creative Cooking DESSERTS
Published by Ottenheimer Publishers, Inc. 1992
Compiled and edited by: Marian Hoffman.
Designed by: Ruth Ann Thompson.

“Vanilla Cream Pudding” Serves 6

2 tablespoons corn starch
1/4 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 egg
2 cups milk (whole milk 3.25% milk fat)
1 tablespoon butter
1 teaspoon vanilla extract (real not artificial)

1.   Mix cornstarch, sugar, and salt
together in saucepan; set aside.
2.
Beat egg in bowl; add milk. Stir
egg mixture into cornstarch mixture.
Cook over medium heat, stirring
constantly, until mixture thickens.
Cook, continuing to stir, for 1 minute.
more. Stir in butter and vanilla.
3.   Refrigerate pudding until chilled

Notes from me:
Butter means butter.

When my husband and I first started dating, that was one place we went……later it was to Hawaii for the mai-tais. I enjoyed miniature golf ~ don’t like the bigger golf.

The trick is to use the club like a pool cue and hit the ball with the top of the handle.

My Boring Sunday bit:
Starting weight: 184 lbs.  /  Goal weight: 145 lbs. (-39 lbs.)
31.0078125 in.³/lb. butter  ×  39 lbs.  =  1,209.3046875 in. ³ of me to lose in total
Weight lost to last week: 9.8 lbs. (29.2 lbs. left)
31.0078125 in.³/lb. butter  ×  9.8 lbs.  =  303.8765625 in.³ of me lost to Sunday, May 15, 2022
1,209.3046875 in³  –  303.8765625 in.³  =  905.428125in. ³ of me left to lose.

Last week’s weight: 174.2 lbs.  /  Goal weight today:172.7lbs.
I am now 174.2 lbs. lbs.
174.2 lbs.  –  174.2 lbs. lbs  =  0.0 lbs.
29.2 lbs.  –  0.0 lbs.  =  29.2 lbs. (balance of desired loss to reach 145 lbs.)
31.0078125 in.³/lb. butter  ×  0.0 lbs.  =  0.0 in.³ of me lost this week.
303.8765625 in.³  +  0.0in.³  =  303.8765625 in.³ of me lost to date
1,209.3046875 in.³  –  0.0 in.³  =  1,209.3046875 in.³ to go
174.2 lbs. lbs.  –  1.5 lbs.  =  172.7  (next Sunday’s goal weight)

I cook too well for myself, and last week I gave in to the temptation of seconds a few too many times. I’ll have to stop that this week.
The exercise regimen will again remain unchanged in week 10; I seem to have hit a plateau but I’ll work on breaking it.
Here’s hoping I can.
Due to wind and weather my Trikke rides were sporadic but I’m noticing improvements. I’m still walking at the same spots, but I’m getting to those spots faster.
Another inaccurate step-count this week because I re-set the machine before riding the Trikke, and then forgot where I wrote it down. The total I have is 15,259 steps.
Maybe I should try one of those eat/drink-this-every night-and-lose-weight-fast diets from the ‘net…..naaah.
