Something that was pointed out in a National Geographic magazine article i read (in a doctors office) on geology, everywhere that you see a tall building is where the bedrock was exposed by glacier during the last ice age. Some of the bedrock is exposed in places in central park.
Never! I’m at my daughter’s for a couple of weeks. WordPress wants me to login again and I didn’t bring my password. I will be a purple (not purplie) square- face for awhile…..except when I comment. Funny how they know me then.
I’m usually here a few days a week or go back and check what I missed, I just don’t comment all the time as you don’t get notices when someone replies to you, I usually don’t get many responses so I don’t know if anyone sees them!
You’re supposed to get notices of replies to a comment if you click the symbol to the right of “famed member”, so it turns green… Looks sort of like a quarter of a target, or a wifi signal indicator.
Of course, a lot of things in WordPress don’t work, or only work for a day or two.
I think you said yours stopped, but you could try redoing it. Again.

Another thing you can do is, look right under the top comment box, where you type yours, if you’re not replying to another comment… And you’ll see the number of comments on the page.
Just to the right of that, there’s a little pawn and gearwheel icon. Click that.
A little window opens with tabs for your own content and subscriptions.
The one that’s usually.open by default shows all your comments…. You can page back as far as you need to, and click any comment to go there, and check for replies.

Personally, I don’t want notifications cos I get too much email…
I just reread the last couple of days, and check manually for replies to me, and whether I need to reply to them.
Besides, I like to read all the new comments, whether or not they pertain to me.
I think that my favorite is an old fashioned with a plane or maple glaze.
Funny thing, as much as i adore chocolate i prefer maple glaze over chocolate on my doughnuts.
It seems like the chocolate they put on doughnuts just is not very good. I prefer anything else………even though, I can’t remember the last time I even had a doughnut. I think I am overdue.

I do, but this constant email that says you need to confirm your subscription to get notices, geesh!
I forgot about looking up all the comments, I have 51, I can imagine how many others have, I should probably delete the old ones, but probably won’t!

I’ve been enjoying some really old Ballard Street pages, but GoComics banned some commenters and deleted their comments.
They also removed every image or link, plus usually the comment that had included it.
It messes up my stroll down memory lane.
