This LINK, will take you back to Monday, January 24th of this year. My mother’s peanut butter cookie recipe is there. I also checked the link to The Georgia Peanut Commission’s peanut butter information video and found it working. It uses The Marathons “Peanut Butter” as the accompaniment to the action.
I absolutely hate when commercials do that. I’m not going to call the number no matter how many times you say it. The more irritating you are, the less likely I am to pay any attention what so ever!!
A local perpetual roving spa sale constantly advertising “Final Chance” for over the last twenty plus years with barely a slowdown during the pandemic and the guy yelling so loud I wish he gets a case of terminal throat cancer is my prime irritation.
Serious apologies to those with throat cancer, but you catch my drift.
My Boring Sunday bit: Starting weight: 184 lbs. / Goal weight: 145 lbs. (-39 lbs.) 31.0078125 in.³/lb. butter × 39 lbs. = 1,209.3046875 in. ³ of me to lose in total Weight lost to last week: 9.8 lbs. (29.2 lbs. left / again)
31.0078125 in.³/lb. butter × 9.8 lbs. = 303.8765625 in.³ of me lost to Sunday, June 5, 2022
1,209.3046875 in³ – 303.8765625 in.³ = 905.428125 in. ³ of me left to lose.
Last week’s weight: 174.2 lbs. / Goal weight today: 172.7 lbs.
I am now 173.0 lbs. lbs.
174.2 lbs. – 173.0 lbs. = 1.2 lbs.
29.2 lbs. – 1.2 lbs. = 28.0 lbs. (balance of desired loss to reach 145 lbs.)
31.0078125 in.³/lb. butter × 1.2 lbs. = 37.209375 in.³ of me lost this week.
303.8765625 in.³ + 37.209375 in.³ = 341.0769375 in.³ of me lost to date

173.0 lbs. lbs. – 1.5 lbs. = 171.5 (next Sunday’s goal weight)
Well, I’m losing weight again.
“DOWNWARD TREND ! DOWNWARD TREND !
START OF A DOWNWARD TREND ! RAH ! RAH ! RAH !
Just a bit of encouragement for myself.
In this week’s news, after getting at least nine stitches by my left ear after MOH’s surgery this week, I was told not to exercise strenuously until June 25; except for walking, the regimen is on hold until the 26th (I guess that area is vulnerable to stretching and pulling the seam apart even after the stitches are out).
I’ve also had a doctor’s appointment with the doctor who is substituting for my regular doctor until sometime in September. He wants to see me again on the 27th due to blood pressure. I brought in some readings from my home monitor, and while they were consistent in themselves and I knew they were high, the nurse who initially read them said if accurate, I’d be in the emergency ward. The office machine still read it as high though so I’m to continue monitoring.
It was determined that my old monitor is malfunctioning (also no one repairs them, surpise, surprise), so $161.65 later, I now have a new one.
Such is life, what can you do?

With that beak, if this bird looks at its feet even once, it’s a goner.
That’s hilarious……….and, true!!! LOL

In my dreams, I’m a python.
Not a bad try, considering!
Good posture!

This time, we DO have the answers!
So where are they??
Ok, i guess I have to try, since you have the answers and all…
You must have sprung for the deluxe edition.
But 24 of them?!! Whew.
….
Not too sure about a few…
1. Forget it.
2. Jack in the Box.
3. Somewhere over the rainbow.
4. Back door.
5. Read between the lines
6. Blood is thicker than water.
7. Belong?
8. Cancelled check… Not a very good clue, if so
9. Once upon a time.
10. Green eggs and ham.
11. Try to understand.
12. Downtown.
13. Bump in the night (though that’s not a complete phrase).
14. First aid.
15. One in a million.
16. Apple pie.
17. Ice cube(d).
18. Rocking around the Christmas tree? Is that a thing?
19. Think outside the box.
20. Six feet underground.
21. ??
22. Too big to ignore.
23. Half baked.
24. Neon lights.
Oops… Just had to fix one.
“No.” is not given… and if it were, I’d read the phrase as “number one knows”.
Not that they don’t expect us to accept a couple of fairly bad clues, so who knows.
