A caption from a picture of the same sculpture from a different angle and in all probability taken by a different photographer than nighthawks’ posting.
Copies of nighthawks’ posting have 2012 as a date stamp.
‘The Bather’ soaks in Hamburg ‘Die Badende’ (‘The Bather’), which is made of styrofoam and steel is a project by artist Oliver Voss
and is on display in Hamburg, Germany. (Photo by Sean Gallup/Getty Images)
I turned my sound off. It is an obvious dub, and not very well done in my opinion; the video speaks for itself.
Warning! ! !
This site appears to be going back to its roots as LiveLeak; be careful.
There’s lots of fun stuff like this (remember my fish video posting that nighthawks answered with a movie clip?), but as I said, be careful.
I guess I could have been clearer.
The rabbit video is absolutely fun.
The site’s name is Itemfix which was a renaming of LiveLeak about 3 years ago (I’m not sure, but I think the British government was involved in the name/content change).
LiveLeak was known for its violent and/or gory death videos although it also had postings of the puppies-and-kittens-causing-smiles type.
When Itemfix first started, you’d be hard pressed to find a fender bender type car crash, let alone any death videos. As I said above, Itemfix now appears to be reverting its predecessor’s, LiveLeak, type format which means while there are still lots of pure fun videos, read the descriptor on any individual posting before you watch so you know what you will be seeing.
There is still a lot of good stuff on the site; I want to ride on this train.
Surprisingly little smoke coming from the coal fire. It looks like a very pleasant ride. Some of the restored steam trains I’ve ridden have so much smoke, ash and flying cinder that you need to keep the windows closed.
Will be back to full boring (see what I did there?) at the beginning of week 17, Sunday, July 10, 2022. Suffice it to say that at the end of week 16 my weight was 173.0 lbs. and I was rooting for a continuing downward trend. Alas, I’m now at 174.6 lbs. but I’m still not giving up!
Meanwhile, I heard “Green Onions” on the radio about an hour ago now and since we appear to be on a nostalgia kick I’ve put that and two other songs of theirs in the spoiler box.
Booker T. and the MGs. (although grammatically it should be MG)
“Green Onions”
“Time is Tight”
“Twist and Shout” (as you’ve probably not heard before)

“Get Back” is a good song when you are singing on a rooftop.

Nautilus Live.
LIVE!
Wow… a couturier dressed fish.
This is her Channel gown for the Net Gala.
,.
Be careful which one you try to peel!
It’s a rare Brazilian Bananabird.
I think his name is Cavendish.
Oh… and the other one is a banana.
…
Um… you decide.
That picture made me think of this.

set of ‘I Love Lucy’

I know indoor sets are usually splayed out like that for the cameras, but I can’t make my eyes notice it during a show.
I’ve seen several articles recently about Jerry Seinfeld’s “impossible” apartment… (not that I read them.)
…
And now you can buy it as a Lego set… with Lego Jerry, George, Elaine, Kramer and Newman(!).
It even comes with a Festivus pole.
This is for

If you’re going to give a big warning, please tell us what we’re supposed to watch out for.
It’s not like we remember every video everybody posts… or every website you or anybody has linked to, including “live leaks”.
…
I don’t have any idea what “going back to its roots” would mean, anyway, when clicking a link. A re-direct?
Meanwhile, being forewarned of uncertain danger, no way am I clicking it!

Sorry, that dancing does nothing for me.
That was dancing?? Cute pants, though ~ right?? Right??
Well done, Claude!
Chocolate Wafers
Good(?) one Claude.
I was trying to come up with a (pun) rejoinder in kind, but failed…
Not many homophones for “bridge” or “floss/cross”.
If he were polishing the kitchen appliances, he could say
“I’ll gloss that fridge when I come to it.”
But that’s so horrible not even Claude would use it.
“Toss, Boss… hmmm…. midge… when I drum to it”?… Nada
…
So I’ll just give you some theme music for Claude to whistle while he finishes brushing his teeth….
…
BTW… when considering the above “food for puns,” I came across another example of why English is so beloved by those trying to learn it….
We have, as noted, “cross, floss, boss, loss, toss, gloss, moss, dross,” even “hoss”, if you insist…
and then there’s “gross”.
Why? Because.
Gloss that fridge.
Claude would use it, meaning, of course I would use it.
fried clams
love Clara’s response! kind of like: ”book him, Dano”!!!
Mid Ohio IndyCar race is on in a bit. do you think the Cliffords will be there?
