A sturdy one, the goes to the inside top of the sculpture, or at least to some point above the opening…. and probably clear, so it doesn’t look obvious.
The water splashing down all around it would hide it from view.

Quite so. Such things are very common in the tourist areas out here in the hills, although in standard pluming sizes. Usually attached to regular plumbing, but rusted out, so you will look twice to see the gag.
I remember from my childhood a hardware store disply that had an endless stream of red paint pouring out of a can. I puzzled about how it was done for years…
