The first moment I saw this poster, I cried out “Nepotism!”
“Nepotism!”
But I knew it wouldn’t do any good… we all know the film industry is awash in it….
whether or not I expected an obvious example like this coming from the Cleo and Company studios.
….
Don’t see “Cleo and Company Studios” on the poster?
Right…. just some producers and directors.
Well, believe me… you don’t get a film like this into major distribution channels….
you don’t get a world wide release….
without the backing of some major canine film production mojo.
…
And who has more mojo than Cleo and Company Studios?
And the proof?
Who else could make Max Girouard a star…. in his very first film outing?
Doesn’t that last name ring a bell?
Of course it does!
Some of you may well ask whether StelBel knows him….
she should…. she raised him from a puppy!
Then again….. look at that face…..
Aw…. yeah… cootsy-poo….. wook at dat widdewface…
Who’s a good dog? Who’s a good dog?
Is Maxie a good doggie?
A bwave, hewoic, and handsome widdew doggie?
Sigh…
OK…. well, I guess no one could resist making him a movie star….
oh goodie!!! i can invite all y’all over to try out my great new Scaredy-Cat theater, love that it came fully stocked with lots of goodies and those submarine scopes so we can see MAXIE and CLEO when they’re on the screen.
great poster, Stel….. especially the purplie eye shadow!

I love the poster of Max, with Cleo as backup!
And Tina Furner providing the music!
But how do you keep Max from getting mad?
Well, a thundershirt® does help…. [giggle]
They do!
Thanks!
