Brigitte Bardot with the basset hound in the movie “Two Weeks in September”.
I can find nothing about the dog at all, and I’m not alone.
In my search for its name, I came across others’ trails and they did not have any success either.
my all time WORSE movie. EVER! as a small kid, i hid behind the back seat every time the bad alien came on the scene! does this remind you of anything?
My parents gave me a Mickey Mouse banjo when I was in hospital (1953.) I just got out in time for my family to catch the Queen Mary to take us to NY and finally to emigrate to Canada.

A U.S. quart is 0.946 litres by definition.
Use over proof (over 57.1% alcohol by volume) rum or brandy to be sure it lights.

I can’t like it more than once?
Dang!
It deserves more than that.
,
A spoof of Keanu Reeves as Klatuu in the remake. I find it funny.
George Carlin’s “P” word from his “seven list” is used once at the end.

My Mousegetar was somewhat smaller. But, then, so was I.
now this is more like it! fun.

As today just happens to be the fourth Saturday in September….
….here is a picture link to get details.
Cool! Thanks!
It took a while, but I got all nine.
nighthawks, you’re being diabolical this week.
I have seven so far, but I’m distracted by the “welcome” mat. Why is it in english?
It distracted me too.
Why English, and why inside?
My thoughts, too.
Seven for me too.
sounds like 7 is the lucky number!
Seven here also.
Stuck at 8, will look again tomorrow.
Nothing to do with anything here; I came across it as a plot point in a book I was reading and looked it up.
Yes, this puzzle seems to me, too, to be a wee bit harder than some others…
Then again… You can do it!
….
There are other mysteries too.
Is this the Padre’s chamber? Or does Slurez have a room just like it?
How did we get to the future?
Perhaps not many minutes ahead, as this may be where Perro™ was headed when we last saw him.
….
As for the “Welcome” mat… Well… whose door is it?
Maybe Slurez wants a reminder to speak English, as he walks out the door?
If it’s the Padre’s, maybe he’s welcoming a Spirit who knows no walls or doors.
…
Most likely I’d say, it’s in English because all the dialogue in this arc has been written in English, for our benefit… Just like in the movies.
I don’t see anybody asking why all the conversations haven’t been in Spanish, when that’s what they all speak.
…
And if none of that works for you… you can call it artistic license.
….
But I do have the answer to one question…
“What is the solution to this puzzle?”
At least, I think I do.
Got all nine, don’t think it was too hard.
Yippee!
Got 7. It was a nice mix of obvious and subtle changes.
the 2 i missed were easy to see. bummer!
Dang it! Seven for me.
Eight here. (And the ninth was an easy one too!)

So I reserved the pits. Now what do I do with them?
Plant them ~ never buy cherries again.
Made me LOL… literally!
yum, yum, YUM!
Brought over from today’s “Ripley’s…”; warning it’s a groaner.
What’s the diff Saturday!
Good morning Cleo phans!
Update:
Yesterday 1:30 PM CDT
I got a call from the transplant office to let me know that my insurance has authorized my transplant.
I am officially on the list of people waiting for a lung transplant.
And now we wait.
I probably won’t get the call for a while just because I’m healthier than a lot of others waiting.
Y’all have a great weekend! (((((HuGz!)))))
that’s really GREAT news, plods! you’ll be in my thoughts and prayers!
i just told MMM your good news & he said ”to congratulate plods from me!!”
So glad to hear that news. Hope you don’t have to wait too long ~ waiting is the hardest part. You, too, have a great weekend ~ celebrate!!
That is really good news ! !
In the meantime:
1. Inhale (unless under water)
2. Exhale
3. Repeat as necessary.
Cool!
Good!
Yay! You have worked hard for this!
Hip-hip-hooray, Plods!
Huzzah!
Yay! my best wishes for a happy ending!
Somehow (just a feeling, you understand) I don’t think this was deliberate.
