Ronnie Spector passed away earlier this year. A few years ago when Cousin Bruce Morrow had a show on Sirius XM, she was a frequent visitor and I always enjoyed their memories of the early 60s.

4. Left: Cabinet below candle contains 13 years of comic pages from Belcherville Daily Disappointment.Right: Cabinet below candle contains uncashed Sherpa royalty checks from original iteration of Cleo & Company.

Embarassing to see Bullet begging like that!
Of course you know it was probably not his idea… but a trained routine.
I think I posted here about Bullet another time… he was famous in Hollywood not only for being one of the best-trained dogs in the movies…
but also because he was actually Roy and Dale’s house pet… one of a rumored 30 or so, but the one who was the closest companion to Roy.
…
I remember reading that Roy liked to take a nap now and then on the set.
Bullet would stand guard and not let anyone near him.
He also had to be commanded not to react when Roy or Dale would be approached or grabbed as part of the plot… otherwise he would attack.
He knew how to fake an attack, too, and put his teeth on someone without actually biting.
But either way, Roy could call him off with a word.
…
He went home with Dale and Roy every night, and lived a pampered life…
and probably never had to beg for anything unless on command.
so, why does roy (my hero) wear a glove on his right hand?
