I like the heavy, lyre-shaped, whatever-that-thing-is-that-holds-up-the-keyboard is called.

Whether it’s shaped that way or not, its name is in fact the lyre box.

Pretty confident I’ve got all nine in good time, i.e. < ten minutes.

Four in one !
I cut out the bunny by Miska and Maude Petersham at 9:16 to get a better look at the details (the racoons in the same frame are excellently done too). That’s what’s in the box.

OK, puzzlers and Cleo people… or Cleo-ers and puzzle people….

I gotcher solution right here!

I’m amending this post to reflect that there are TEN DIFFERENCES.

See posts from Tigressy and Alexikakos below.

….

Nice of Cleo to want to read us a story… hope it doesn’t involve wild basset hounds eating us for midnight supper, or werebassets howling in the moonlight.

What sort of stories do basset hounds tell their puppies at Halloween time, anyway?

Scary ones about demon bassets, or sweet ones about trick-r-treating for Liv-a-Snaps and Milk Bones?

Anyway… get as close as you can to solving the puzzle…. sounds like some of you have already found nine…

But you might want to look for a tenth before you peek.

I’ve replaced my solution with one that shows all ten.

Then… just say, “Trick or Treat“…

… and click HERE!

Got the same and fairly quick, too!

Edit: I don’t know why Alexikakos deleted his comment, but I think he’s right –
There is a tenth difference.

Once again, I stopped looking at nine.
There are, this week, very definitely ten differences.

There is a very definite…
…colour change in the book.
It goes from a dark blue on the left to a light blue on the right.

Alexi and Tigressy… you’re both right.

Lame excuse…
The time frame was a bit short this week… and I’ve been busy, as well.

I know I saw what you did when I first looked at it, but when I made the solution png, I found another difference, making nine… and forgot that one.

Plus, I didn’t check my solution with StelBel or Nighthawks, and apparently none of us noticed.

Oops…

Sometimes I wonder whether Paul Gilligan, the cartoonist of “Pooch Cafe”, reads “Cleo and Company.”

Poncho occasionally does something that Cleo has done.

Today the scared dogs hide behind the couch.

It’s oatmeal day today (I made porridge for a snack last week).
Counting today as day one, there are twenty-six days to American Thanksgiving eve.
Given that the attachment ran on the eve in 2013 I’m guessing it was at least partially meant to celebrate it.

And here is a link back to Saturday, April 30 of this year where I posted the recipe to my favourite cookie.      “OATMEAL COOKIES WITH RAISINS AND CHERRIES ON TOP”

Uhg (for both you and your grandson) ! ! !
Since you were to be going home yesterday, I hope you’re at least unhooked from all fixed (and portable) air-hoses and I.V. lines.
Let’s hope your grandson doesn’t require hospitalization.

Bad time for the Covid bug to appear. I’m sure you are anxious to be home. I hope your traveling to home goes easily. And I hope your grandson has a mild case and is over it quickly. Take care. Hugs to you, too!!

Aside from the surgical pain, are you able to give the new lungs a good trial yet? I hope they improve your life greatly.

That’s a fantastic number, Plods!

Amazing, in fact, and especially so soon after surgery.

Don’t force the stamina when you get home… easy does it, one day at a time…
And now you HAVE time.

It must feel like a miracle.
