Maybe I’m an optimist – which would come as a shock – but I think many dogs, if they were in the right mood, would let you place a leaf on their head and not move.
The height of popularity for darkly humorous picture books, e.g. “101 Uses For A Dead Cat”, and near the beginning of a string of movies, mostly serious, about nuclear catastrophe.
The back cover.
While looking I also found sales values for U.S. $100.00 to $750.00.
Some of the sample pages of the content I found actually do have educational (very basic, but still educational) value.
Hope that you get better soon. Wounded backs aren’t easy.
When I wrenched mine years ago, my doc confessed that docs know less than nothing about backs. She sent me to PT and the therapist, after talking with me and watching me move, knew exactly what was wrong. A few stretches in the right direction and I was greatly improved. (At least I could stand up and walk somewhat humanly.) A month or so of therapy and I was really good to go.
.
Talk about “adrift on a storm-tossed sea.” Speaking of tossed, I’m fixing to … … excuse me, pardon me, coming through, make a path.

Black on red, or red on black, it makes for an attractive combination.
Beautiful doggie.
That forehead leaf is just too perfect…
Probably added with an app, like the perfect falling leaves with the beautiful puppy the other day.
It’s ok, though. Artistic, and all.
That’s why they make those apps.

I’m a beleafer.
LOL, perfect!
Sure… and it could have happened here.
I just think it looks a little too flat and too perfect, and the edge doesn’t look real. But it could be.
My sister in law had a sweet, giant, half-Newfoundland bear of a dog you could do almost anything to.
She could get excited and playful, but on command she stopped and turned back into fluffy furniture.
The kids napped on her.

“Hi. I’m Fluffy, and I’m fluffy.”
Mane Coon?
With that snout and those ear tufts, I’m going to say “Yes”.
Me too.
Definitely a Maine Coon.
Here’s a fun website containing a bunch more pictures. THE PAWS
just saw a Main Coon Kittie on Facebook

Ah… good times.

Hope not!!

I liked the one yesterday, too, with the phone drinking the person’s brain.
Wow! Amazing, Grace. I think I’ve found them all for the second consecutive week. And without spending an eternity on it.
I am out of patience after 8. Going to Susan’s solution now.
Uh oh is right!
Oh my, Cleoites and Saturday puzzlers…
Cleo driving a “dodge-em” car is NOT what you want to see next to you at a red light.
Or for that matter, at a yellow or a green one, either.
Come to think of it… or Cleo driving any car, anywhere.
…
There are some differences between the panels…
Too bad one of them isn’t that in the second panel, she’s in handcuffs, or has been replaced by a better driver… or maybe is on foot.
Anything that would keep her from being behind that wheel.
But alas, find them all, and it won’t help in that regard.
…
It will help you have a good time though, whether you are a puzzle person, or maybe just a Cleo fan.
And to keep you from being lost, I’m even providing the solution….for AFTER you’ve done your best.
…
It’s early for me to leave it… but I trust you guys.
Especially since if you cheat, Cleo will be looking for you.
You don’t want to have to dodge her, believe me.
So give it your best shot, and when you’ve found them… Or if you get really stuck…
P.s. I love the teeth.
Darn. I forgot to look at that one.
I found all nine this morning, but I did have to come back for a second look after an hour or so, I only got seven the first time around.
That was easy.
I found all nine in two passes.
I looked for a tenth, but this week nighthawks must have been awake when he did the changes. 😁
zowie! i got all 9!!! hooray!!!
found all nine, but not that quickly, duh on the last one, after staring at it for ages!
I got all nine right away. One that was easy for me for a change!!
Arrrgh! How could i miss that?
me too
Wow! I got eight so far!
Who are those kids in that yellow car?
I found all nine in fairly quick time. The last one was so obvious; it should have been #1 or #2.
Cleo would run out of tokens soon enough.
But this kind of bumper car won’t work on the streets anyway.
Except in cartoons.
The kind where basset hounds talk.
I was just trying to calm the audience.
the day of the donut
It’s pepper month.
just so you, know…. i fell on my back 2 days ago, lots of pain,
xoxo
Ouch. Get well soon.
And I do hope we’ll get better news from Plods soon…
You keep ignoring my advice!
What have I always told you?
DON’T FALL DOWN!!
I mean, sheesh.
Now you’d better heal quickly, or I’ll be mad.
I didn’t fall…
But thank you for your concern.
Oops
oh no, get better, did you go see a dr and get meds?
yes! but nothing is helping the pain yet.
I’m being a busy-body (picture link).
What is that??
The picture is a link.
But, to answer your question, it’s a standing aid.
Thanks!
What use is an aid just standing there?
I have never seen one like that.
I can’t ‘like’ your comment. How terrible! Rest lots and let it heal. Back pain is one of the worst. Keep us posted on how you are doing.
I hate any fall. Thats one of the worst.
♥ Stay safe and have a swift recovery.
Oh, sorry! Best wishes!

Ouch! Sorry to hear that. I hope nothing’s broken. Get well soon. Sooner!
The music stopped, and I have only 8 today.
well, if your time limit is the music—then perhaps a performance of ‘Bolero’ is in order next week
Or something by John Cage…
Mahler’s Ninth?
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/As_Slow_as_Possible
Yeah, I spent a month at a John Cage concert one long afternoon.
Years ago… then I decided I didn’t have any more months to spare.
