I liked mine so much I ordered an upgraded two stage rocket using the same water pressure propellant ….it had a little capsule on top that parachuted safely back to earth. It worked, but NASA never had to contend with their capsules landing in inaccessible trees.
I think that was the wind chill or in the mountains. We got down to -7 one night and up to -1 the next day (bad enough). Just prayed the electricity stayed on ~ we don’t have a fireplace. We are at 11 degrees today and on the rise. Snow and wind today, though. I think the Arctic blast has blasted to the East now! It got pretty cold where you are, too, I hear. And I don’t even want to think about MontanaLady.

Funny to see Ringo singing in front of another drummer. Good old Ringo!
F*ck; just on the German News: Cold spell in the USA; down to -40 or even -45 °C in Montana – please stay warm and healthy, especially Lovely Rita, her Rocketman and their family!!!
it’s a curious painting, to be sure….I would have thought that would be Santa squashed …it would have made more sense (whatever that means)
if besides Santa, there would be a pitiful scattering of toys and presents everywhere…
leastways that’s how I would do it.
curious about the story behind the name on the truck–I think it’s a name
I thought you are watching SNL?
That horned children-eating devil from European Mythology, guest in last week’s “Weekend Update” – that’s him!
Isn’t the burning Yul log (and the fire in the fireplace) to keep him from entering through the chimney?
Later, he became Saint Nikolaus’s “Knecht” aka servant – he’s the original one with sack and birch.
“Krampus” is a good movie…
.
How many rainbassets does it take to pull Santa’s sleigh?
10?
Whatever it is, it has got to be multiples more than reindeer.
Yeah… lots.
I can’t imagine each one getting a lot of lift… those pudgy little legs are not exactly aerodynamic.
Then again, would too many of them attached to the harness traces create a mass that would sink the whole shebang?
…
Probably not, I guess.
If each one were capable of staying in the air, the whole flock should stay airborne.
Don’t forget the ear flapping, they could be better than reindeer.
27!!!
Love this!
Well, there you have the answer. Eight, plus one to guide the sleigh.

“Donald Dutch”
isn’t he a sweetheart.

Relax. We’re all friends here.
Someone is asking for belly scritches.
feels sooooo good!

I had one of those.
Cool. Did it work?
Yes! Very well. Lots of them ended up on roofs. Several houses down. 😀

You can still get them, you just have to search a bit.
I made my kids one with a soda bottle and PVC pipe. The boys loved it. (they are grown ups)
The strip with the dominant cat meets the strip with the dominant dog. About time Garfield got what was coming to him.
Another fine video created by the very Nighthawks who operates this website. Coincidence? I think NOT.
Hey Perky! I saw that the temps in Northern Idaho were -59! I hope you are coping.
Yikes!
we have a warming trend….. -29 yesterday a.m. to -13 this a.m.. and positives the whole week. hooray!!!
I will copy Susan ~ Yikes! We will get up to 33 degrees on Christmas.

I think Cleo is actually singing “Fall! La la la la!”
Ringo turned 82 this year… and that concert, where the video was filmed, was in 2019, so he was 79, or close to it.
He probably dyes his hair, but he can’t dye his voice, and he sounds pretty %$@! good!
“Poor performance”, Garfield muses, “I’ll give it only one star!”
Odie, on the other hand…

This Ringo tune is a real Gem.

Who had the sled, the angel or the moose? Now that the angel is flat, she/he can be hung on the wall.
