I can find no source I consider reliable for an artist.
But Clipart claims this version and at least two others as part of its collection.

Cleo as Elsa, and those moving clips – nice post Stel.

Toto’s Africa – searching online it seems nobody, including Toto band members, can explain what it is about. That’s OK, the best art is ambiguous.

Ooh… Casabasset!

One of my very favorite films of all time!

Thanks, Stel!

Ingrid Bergdog… One of the greats.

I confess to being among those who don’t find her a great beauty…

Not that she isn’t beautiful… but her looks aren’t so stunning that they’re what make her a leading lady.

No, it’s her other qualities…. her acting, and her grace… and harder to measure ones, like her believability and vulnerability.

And Gobark.

What can I say?

Was there ever anyone or anydog as cool as Humphrey Gobark?

He’s proof that most modern “cool” wannabes are barking up the wrong tree…. maybe literally.

Working out, spending a fortune on hair products and clothes… even changing their names trying to get the perfect cool handle.

Did Gobark worry about any of that? What does it look like?

Not that he doesn’t look good… But worried? Hah!

Not handsome, not swaggering… if he’s well built, you’d never know it under the baggy slacks and rumpled jackets… and his name is Humphrey.

Cool is in his attitude.

His knowing glances, his intelligence… even his barely concealed kindness. No need to prove anything, or to one-up anybody, because he knows who he is… and he assumes that we do too.

This film is so full of great scenes and great lines it’s like a dictionary of famous quotations all on its own.

This 5-second video conveys so much… it’s one of my favorite lines in an already favorite movie… or any movie.

A plot point and a character study in less than a 10th of a minute!

My meatball recipe.

Made up by me.

1 lb. ground beef (lean or regular / I prefer regular)
3/4 cup fresh mushrooms, coarsely chopped (or 1/2 can, drained)
1/2 of 2 1/2″ onion, finely chopped
1 medium egg
1 tblsp. prepared mustard
1 tblsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/4 teaspoon salt
3/8 tsp. pepper
4 tblsp. flour

Combine everything thoroughly .
Decide how many meat balls you want.
For practical purposes, this recipe will yield:
16 — 1/8 cup meatballs (1 oz.)
8 — 1/4 cup meatballs (2 oz.)
6 — 1/3 cup meatballs (2 2/3 oz.)
4 — 1/2 cup meatballs (4 oz.)
2 — 1 cup meatballs (8 oz.)
1 meatloaf (with the addition of chopped carrots, peas, celery… or whatever, to taste.)
Either sauté the meatballs in a lightly oiled frying pan, or put them on a greased metal tray with sides and bake them in a preheated oven at 350° F. on the second rack (Top rack is first.). Keep an eye on them; when they’re a deep brown, they’re done.
Same thing for the meatloaf, but that’s 40 minutes.

Put whatever sauce you want on them, or make gravy from the drippings.
