Lovely. /S
Is it a kinetic sculpture, so that it looks as if it’s trying to burrow into the wall?

I’m getting that it’s more like something that hit a windshield.

Yuck!

If that’s a sculpture, I’m glad it’s nowhere I can see it.

Wow.

Far from being the original Noah’s ark (which doesn’t exist or has never been found, depending on your point of view) this is a very controversial place called “Ark Encounter”.

It’s part of a very fake Creationist “theme park” in Kentucky, only built in 2016.

So much for history!

It cost many millions, maybe why it’s $50… to see a bogus exhibit.

….

It’s been hotly debated, and protested, because it got funds and tax incentives from the state of Kentucky, which also encourages school groups to visit, in spite of federal law requiring the separation of church and state.

Too much to go into, but if you’re interested:

I knew there was at least one more reason to not live in Kentucky, and you have generously provided it. I am in your debt.

Wow, building that would have stripped a large forest bare. It’s a great example of why the story is so unbelievable.

Virginia Slims? That might just date the photo to a rather slim range.

Urban camouflage. The outside looks like hell, but it’s plush inside.

I only had a 396 and only one 4-barrel carb. I still had trouble leaving a stop sign without chirping the tires.

Funny.

But I actually drove a beat up ’76 Plymouth Volare station wagon for 15 years… 1986 to 2001.

Loved my car (slant six, ran great) but it looked awful.
(Ok, not quite as bad as this one. No tape.)

One time in the 90s, I accidentally left my keys on the roof, at a busy Costco, right under a parking lot light. They positively glistened.

Relief barely outweighed my hurt feelings, when I came back 2 hours later, and nobody had stolen my car.

This FTTD has been very interesting. This past Tuesday I had my second eye cataract surgery. To say my vision is different doesn’t even begin to describe it. Wearing my glasses now, old prescription that they are, just makes everything blurry.
I found seven, possibly eight differences. The remaining two or three will have to find themselves without any help from me.

Ok, I’ll write you an excuse for this week.

It’ll probably settle down… In fact I’m sure it will.

Next week find 10, ok?

And get new glasses!

They say a lot of people don’t need any… I’d still need a reading prescription.

My eyesight has always been bad. I’ve worn glasses full time since I was 7-8 years old, and I expect to need them still. The M.D. can’t write a new prescription for another month, to allow my eyes time to incorporate their new lenses and my brain to adjust to the additional data. Plus, I have double vision that has to be corrected with a prism on my right eye, independent of any vision deficiency. I have worn progressive lenses for decades so I can read. They tell me that I will definitely need a new prescription for sunglasses, perhaps still for progressive clear lenses. Right now, it feels like my vision changes throughout the day and is acted upon by any number of variables.

I’m in almost the same boat, except for the double vision.

My vision has always been very volatile .. even during one appointment it’s hard for an optometrist to get a reading.

I was almost 7 when I first got glasses.

I still remember the wonder I felt, when I realized that I could see blades of grass in the lawn and leaves in the trees… I’d always seen both as fuzzy green clouds.

….

I’ve worn progressive lenses since the late 1980s… But for about 20 years I’ve taken them off to read, because I’m so nearsighted I see better extremely close up without them.

I’m using my tablet right now, maybe 7″ from my eyes, without glasses.

My sister said getting cataract surgery made her eyesight perfect, except it took that near vision away from her… One reason I’ve put it off, the other being that no two optometrists agree on whether I need it.

….

I do have extreme astigmatism, and when optometrists measure it, they somehow get it wrong.

Several times I’ve had to take back new glasses that made me too nauseated to wear them, and insist that they redo them, using my previous astigmatism prescription with the new refraction.
That works.

If you get cataract surgery you can request to keep your near sight vision, you have a choice.

The lenses they put in your eyes after cataract surgery replace your natural lens. They are activated by the same muscles. The need for reading glasses due to presbyopia is caused by loss of elasticity in your natural lens. The replacement lens has the needed elasticity. My sister had it done and could see distance and close better than ever.

And Meadowmary. ( I wish there were a way to reply to multiple people)

My sister and a friend were both given an either/or choice.

This was about 10 years ago for both.

They were told that there’s no more elasticity in the lenses, so if you choose near vision, you’ll need glasses for everything else.

My sister chose medium distance, like computers and cooking.

My friend got one close vision eye and one distance, which they said she’d get used to, but it drove her nuts till she had another surgery.

I’m glad if there’s an elastic lens now! Thanks.

Put It On The Ritz”?? Noooo…

I always wonder why, if people are going to let speech-to-text software write their titles, they don’t at least correct them!

Or maybe this video uploader thought the song really was about putting cheese spread on crackers?

Since I’m here, and it’s ready, I’m going to let you guys have the puzzle solution now.

I think I can trust you to try your hardest before you peek.

Since Cleo isn’t in it, she doesn’t care as much as she used to, so she probably won’t bite you if you cheat… But I can’t guarantee it.

And remember, our recent puzzles were created by StelBel, the evil queen of tampering… And I can’t guarantee that she won’t either.

So… don’t cheat, and keep your hands inside the vehicle at all times.

All you have to do is find ten little differences…

And then you can, in good conscience….

Click HERE to check against mine!

BTW… some of you newer visitors especially… Remember to click the image, or preferably right-click it, and choose “open in a new window”, to see my solution larger.

And if by any chance you can’t see what’s different, compare that spot on the original puzzle
