Give me aprons, South Koreans and some scissors – and the crustaceans will have fled the scene in no time.

Well, Westerners don’t usually visit North Koreans.

It looks like the creature (crab? It doesn’t have a recognizable crab shell) is handing the dog something round and white.

Maybe a chill pill?

I always see a face on the full moon… similar to this face, but slightly turned to the the left… I mean our left, his right.

Old fashioned looking, smiling.

I can’t look at the full moon without seeing it, though I rarely see it in photos.

Anybody else?

Did the live goose get too friendly with the sculpture?

Well the lucky thing about loving an inanimate object is that injuries like this are often repairable.

When you love a live being, human or otherwise, sometimes you have to go through the heartache of watching your loved one suffer, or even face the pain of irreparable loss.

With a plaster goose, a broken neck may not be permanent!

You can beg for a miracle from the gods of reincarnation… like Tape, Spackle, and even St. Elmer of the Glue.

That looks like a distinctly unfriendly “welcoming committee” to Easter Island.

Some “hut!” Looks as though it’s made with steel and riveted together.

You could make a whole small dog out of those ears, and leave enough for the basset.

Very cute. Can you actually keep him as a pet? Housebroken?

They can be kept as pets, I’ve heard of kits being rescued and brought up with dogs. They’re smart enough to be housebroken.

Medium rare. Pink and juicy with a band of redder in the middle.

I prefer it more red, if possible.

Hot flame, heavy char on the outside, barely warm in the middle.

When the leads for the Turtles (lead singer & French horn player) went out on their own they were contractually forbidden from using their real names for the act. They became Flo & Eddie. I saw them last week. Well, I saw Flo (the weird one with the French horn), Eddie apparently couldn’t make it. They had Ron Dante of the Archies fill in. Sadly, Flo has dementia, and though he sang well and remembered lyrics, he needed a lot of help with stage direction. Ron and the band did a great job of keeping on cue with subtle reminders and gestures. I’d seen Flo & Eddie in the ’80s doing the Turtles music. I’ve always seen them as the top act in “Happy Together” oldies tours. Last week they were with the Cowsills (sounded perfect), Gary Puckett (sounded awful 🙁 ), Classics IV (two of them, sounded great), & Little Anthony (sounded good).
