See how they are all bolted together? Vertically. I would have thought that they would bolt a few horizontally.

WIKIPEDIA ON THE STORY BEHIND THIS.     By the figures given in the article its fuel mileage was (if I’ve done the math correctly) .0024 miles per U.S. gallon.

That’s almost 13 feet per gallon! ! ! !

Oh look there’s the new riding lawn mower I ordered. (I ordered a NEW, very expensive electric riding mower. They delivered this rusty piece of junk. I was furious, and of course, returned it.)

I wouldn’t want to be in that boat nearest us, with all those heavy stacks listing towards me.

No one seems to be mentioning that the Rena was aground on a reef in this picture, and some of the containers were falling off.

It was a huge maritime disaster… It was loaded with various fuels, some as cargo and some in its own tanks, which became a major oil spill, and killed thousands of birds.

I’m not sure at what point it broke in half, and mostly sank.

Found the chick, or A chick, I’m pretty sure.

This isn’t one of the Dudas puzzles, so… um..

If you want just a hint…
The chick is hidden in the picture but I’d say it’s not part of the picture.

If you’re ready, though, here’s the

Not the one I found. From yours, go up one sheep, left one, and up one again. I suppose yours is a little better, but I quit looking once I found one ☺

I really can’t see a chick there…

But we all see what we see.

And we quit looking when we’ve finished the assignment.

That’s what happened to me, too….

But not till I’d looked for quite a while.

I’m sure I looked right at it multiple times without seeing it, because….
I was looking for a little chick between the sheep.

Our cat is sick all of a sudden. We are really worried; she doesn’t do sick. Or feel~. Or fever…
I hope it’s “only” the sudden not predicted change of weather that lets her digestion act up. Better out than in; she doesn’t hide or anything and doesn’t soil her sleeping spot but was too sick to make it to her toilet to sh… in time.
She rests; we don’t want to disturb her. Taking her to the vet is a no-go at the moment; we don’t want to risk heart failure due to stress.
Oh – and she did break wind. Mightily. No danger of a colic anymore, I hope… ;-/

Please ! ! !
Take her to the vet.
They may not like it, but animals know when they’re being helped.
She won’t have heart failure due to stress.

I can’t – her favorite places are on top of our shelves. Too risky for us.
She looks much better already and reacts normally when I talk to her.

She left her high point after I called her without any problems and placed herself on top of an old computer monitor (another favorite). Then to her feeding place where she took a little bit of organic yogurt. Now she relaxes in her new favorite place – on top of some old newspapers in a box on the floor next to the bathroom where her litter-box is.
Now I run a light fever…but we are relieved.

I’m glad she’s feeling better.
I know you’re keeping an eye on her, but I still think a trip to the vet would put your minds at ease.

.Peanut Butter Cookies below, and my favourite peanut butter video on top.

From:
My mother’s cookbook.

“Peanut Butter Cookies”

Sift together
1 cup sifted flour
½ teaspoon baking soda (not baking powder)
¼ teaspoon salt Set aside for the moment

Put into large bowl:
½ cup soft shortening (lard or Crisco vegetable)
½ cup packed brown sugar (use the back of a serving spoon to pack level with the top of the measuring cup.
½ cup (level) white sugar
1 egg, unbeaten
½ cup smooth peanut butter
1 Tablespoon water or lemon juice
½ teaspoon vanilla extract (real only or the taste will be off)

Beat the second list together at about 1/3 speed or use a pastry blender. Scrape down the side of the bowl as necessary using a spatula.
Blend well
Add the flour mixture and blend in (again scraping the bowl as necessary)

Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls onto lightly greased cookie sheets
Press lightly with a floured fork to flatten and ridge the cookies
Chill the raw cookies in the fridge for 15 minutes
Bake at 325° to 350° for 12 to 15 minutes

Notes from me:
The one cup sifted flour is sifted and measured. It is then resifted with the baking soda and salt. Over fill the measuring cup and scrape it level; do not pack it down.

Watch closely from the 10 minute mark as they’ll go from done to burnt in the blink of an eye.

(Yes, this is a repeat from January 2022)

I’ll take all the chunks.

Chunky isn’t chunky enough for me.

I also like my orange juice full of pulp and jam you can barely spread because of the pieces of fruit.
