Love the poster! I’m with Susan, I had to watch the movie a couple times to really get it, but I liked it both times. A talented cast really makes the movie. I thought I was having problems getting to this site. It said thirty comments, but I was only getting Plods……..then I realized we already had two pages. More comments than usual or I’m just late??
Thanks, PC!!! I, too, remember that the movie was hard to follow. I re-watched it after I happened to watch a documentary on the water scandals in LA early last century. Then, a lot of the movie became clearer. They should have added an advisory to research the topic first! LOL
I think it’s more comments than usual for this time of day, at least.
OK, that worked using Chrome. I just tossed in another Asleep At The Wheel video for a test. The problem may have been that I’d been using Firefox (with some blockers). As I recall, Google owns YouTube now, so they’re probably more compatible. I’ll switch to Chrome if I want to embed some YouTube.
Based on your comment, I went back to the original and edited the embed code that WordPress had placed in the comment box. After saving and refreshing, the embed code matched that of your working example that was below my original. Nice to know that it’s possible with Firefox. Now I’ll have to do some more experimentation in the future.
Or just go to the desired video on youtube,
position your mouse pointer on it and don’t press the left but the right mouse button.
A menu will appear that is different from your usual firefox-menu.
If it isn’t different, you’re probably still on the site of your search results. (In that case, just left-click the desired result and try again.)
Choose “Copy video url” and paste that into your comments box here.
Just working with StelBel’s ideas for renaming movie stars to canine versions.
Far / arF side?
Looked up AKC breeds, and didn’t find much to work with Montana. Lady works for a first name.
Mountain Cur? Miniature Schnauzer? Mastiff? Maybe MMM can come up with something for you. That’s assuming that he doesn’t come up with something that will get him in trouble. Otherwise, the Miniature Pincher will chase him around the house. {^¿*}
We get one right here every day
And to recap

To answer your question…yep
Page one seems to hold any number of comments (so far) that are posted as “replies”, and therefore indented under other posts…..
but only a certain number of “first level” comments, made using the “join the discussion” field on top, and then the next one starts a new page.
That’s why we sometimes have, say, 70 comments, all on one page, and another day, only 35 but on two pages.
Ooo, Stel! Beautiful poster. Beautiful art work. And great music!

I forgot to mention above that I use Firefox with some blockers, too…

Just noticed that the smoke/hair in the Bassettown poster is escaping the borders. Of course the humans copied that detail as well.
I decided that a new nickname might work well for just Cleo & Company.
and besides that, you’re already a ‘famed member’!
Is there a significance to Arfside? Love new ideas, Arfie.
