The dramatically silhouettedd cable cars on top of the hill, with no background showing, and what looks like the shortening of the drops, with no angle apparent.
Since cable cars only run on certain streets, this is probably Filbert,; I believe it’s their steepest run.

But thinking more about it… If you were right down at the bottom, so your camera had to point almost straight up, it’s possible the distance between cross streets would be foreshortened to that extent…
And maybe you’d see the cable cars against the sky with no pesky background.
It’s a narrow crop, in any case, leaving out the buildings on the sides.

I’m with Susan on this one. We don’t know if the moon is rising or setting, but it does either in the East or the West; so where is the light coming from?

At first I couldn’t quite figure out why he looked familiar…
Then I held up my hand in a sort of open 👌 circle and peered at his face through the middle, so I was blocking most of his hair from my view, and somehow saw the right features.
They don’t want to chase these kittens; they want to lick them.
I’ve known a couple of them who both tried to curl up around the unwilling family cat (two different families and cats) and both treated my scrappy, ornery little dog like a puppy.
When my dog would playfully attack or steal toys in an attempt to be chased, or maybe start a mock fight, with the one I knew best, she would simply put her paw on top of my dog’s head and briefly pin her down.

I’ve always liked this well-performed and drawn video as well as the song; it has a happy ending. ‘Aha’ was formed in Oslo Therese Bailey former English actress and model is now 59 years old, a personal assistant in industry and mother of two.
A memorial to a real past relationship, but everything, except his very real feelings, is fictionalized (I never really warmed to ‘Sequel’) .
As I think I’ve said at another time, if I’ve ever had zucchini, I didn’t recognize it as such. The breading mix sounds really good though.
Harry Chapin! One of very few artists I’ve seen more than once. I went from “kinda-likin'” his music to super fan after seeing him. His concerts were part music and part story telling. He always made the audience members feel like we were friends of his. I saw him twice; he died way too young.
A normal winter here includes a total snow fall of 100″; at least 10 days with over 10″ on the ground, and another 60 days with 5″-10″. Last winter it was all rain. Zero days of 10″, maybe a week of barely 5″. They said 49″ fell but it was mixed with rain much of the time.

I was spooked by the strange light, but especially by the man watching the girl from an upstairs window, in that odd, growing darkness.
But who knows… maybe he’s just innocently looking out of his window.

If the snow comes like that here, an entire winter’s worth in one collosal “Whump!”…
It might sound more like “whimper“.
You might see a little on the ground, in some years, if you get out there within 10 minutes.

One year… I think it was 1991 …. we had snow that stayed on the ground for a few hours in the very early morning, mostly only in the shadows.
I slept through it, but my neighbors were rushing outside taking pictures.
If my yard was like theirs, it must have been at least ¼ inch deep!

Now the leaves, that’s different.
I get at least an an inch of leaves every year.
Maybe two!

Am average year here (I have no winter data) includes 29″ of rain, which is mostly between October and March, ergo, in winter..
And 0.0″ of snow.
