If you recall from the first time this was posted, she’s only one of the two figures of “The Flying Kiss”. This     LINK     leads to the “PLANET ATTRACTIONS” website and a video of the attraction in action (I muted my speakers again).

That’s a big NO, thanks ever so much anyway.

Wait… why am I thanking you?

Are you trying to kill me?

Just the thought might be enough.

London’s ‘Daily Mail’ published answer (it agrees with everyone’s selection / I found it before I went looking this time).

I’m a bit slow on the uptake, I just realized that the first pin he hits is WAY out of position. It is well forward of any normal pin location.

SusanSunshine

It could be a “posed” trick shot, true…

OTOH, do you think the pins could have been moved out of position by the ball that originally caused the split?

You’d think they might have fallen over, in that case, but maybe not?

I don’t know why, but I feel a little less impressed by a practiced set-up, than by seeing him pick up an actual split that occurred during play.

But maybe that’s the only way it could be done.

The pins are normally all recessed in the enclosure at the end of the lane; that enclosure would have captured the first pin. The only way for a pin to cross lanes is for it to be well in front of that. It’s still impressive, but as you said, less impressive than doing it in a game.

From yesterday.
Sunrise today in Santa Rosa occurs at 6:49 hrs. and sunset at 17:00 hrs. for a day length of 10 hours and 11 minutes.

Wow… my cursor slips, and I might put an extra letter in a word, or leave out an apostrophe.
Your cursor slips, and bam! You’ve added information on a whole other song! LOL

It’s part of “Word’s” programming. I have everything in a table, and if the cursor even touches a cell while I’m copying either above or below it the contents of that cell get swept up.
I didn’t notice, obviously, that I had collected that cell in error.

Today’s Songs:
‘1. The Tide is High,’ ‘2. The Unforgiven,’ ‘3. The Twist,’ and ‘4. The Vatican Rag,’ and the ‘Cheap Thrills Cuisine’ recipe ‘5. Butternut Squash Bisque.’
1. The cover by ‘Blondie’. The original release by the ‘Paragons’ out of Kingston Jamaica appears below.
2. Every now and then I like dark heavy metal. This, by Metallica, delivers.
3. Back to very much lighter music. Ernest Evans did it, but Elvis Presley wasn’t allowed to.
4. Originally written to be performed on NBC’s American version of the BBC’s show ‘That Was The Week That Was’ (for which he was a writer)Tom Lehrer didn’t submit it because he decided it would be changed too drastically for broadcast. He debuted it himself at the ‘hungry I’ in San Francisco in 1965.
5. With the exception of pumpkin, I’m not a fan of squash.

I was teasing you… I knew you must have had it already written.

Could have been a table, could have just been the next line of text.

Just for the record… I like most kinds of squash, though not the spices in that particular recipe.

But I dislike pumpkin, and many pumpkin pie spice mixtures.

The idea of pumpkin pie spice in my coffee makes me cringe.

In this season, Trader Joe’s always advertises how many different pumpkin spice products they’re selling for this year…cookies, coffee blends, cereal, dozens of others.

I don’t want even one.

As if Cleo would ever have any possible sort of weapon or weapon substitute in her hands and not use it against anything feline in her path.

I don’t think she even thinks about it…

It’s just a reflex, her automatic response to seeing a cat or hearing a meow.

The same applies to squirrels.

In fact, she may not even realize she’s aiming it at cats or squirrels… it just happens. Trying to stop would be like attempting to stop breathing.

But what would happen if she came across a flying squirrel? If it had attitude, would it circle back and counterattack?

You probably already know that (fortunately for Cleo, and kind of unfairly for squirrels), except for Rocky, “flying” squirrels can’t actually fly.

I know they can steer somewhat, when they’re gliding… but I’m not sure how far they can pivot.

If one of them could do a 180, I’m sure he’d love to try a counterattack.

Sadly, though, I have to doubt that a 5″ creature that weighs a few ounces would prevail against a 65 pound basset hound, armed with a leafblower or not.

Yes, it is.

From the appearance of the film, and combining that with the information in this Wikipedia article about Dick Clark’s other music show,      “WHERE THE ACTION IS”     ,this may be where it was shot.

(sigh) The “Shocking Blue” single is among a bunch of singles my late sister (12 years elder than me) gave to me when I was a teen. It is her birthday today…
She passed away (MS) in 2004…

Yes; she was in my mother’s and my care at our home until my mother passed away (drowned) and mine her last two years – she died in my arms.
Her children (young, but old enough) didn’t help. Heritage? Yeah…

Worse – I found her, pulled her out of that tiny pool, called my husband to call 112 (our 911 for fire and health emergencies), I performed CPR, she was revived by the professionals – but it was too late, her brain was already too damaged.
She was in a coma for five weeks because my dear brother refused to let her go – no; not out of love. He was the take and blame others for everything type.
I was the one who visited her every day and took care of my sister.

Yeah, when is pizza with anchovies day?

That’s what I like about places like Mod Pizza and Pieology… both chains where you pay a set price for a small pizza, and go down the line picking out any toppings you like.

You can say “more anchovies, please!”
