Yes!

That’s a Sphinx cat (a “hairless” breed, though they do have some fine hair in places), holding out his/her outstretched paw.

The three curled up “extra fingers” are actually just his toe pads.

Well, ok, I’ll give you credit, but it’s really only half a nose.

Next time there’s a nose and a half you have to call it one nose. ๐Ÿ˜

And they’re actually sweet, cuddly kitties, or at least the one I met was.

I only really saw him at a cat show, and talked to his owner, and got to pet him….
which is unusual cos most cats get high strung at a show.

But she said he loved people and would like it, and he seemed to.

I had a neighbor up the street with two.
One would curl up on her sweater with just its head out of the neck when she would take a walk.
Absolutely calm around Sweetheart. And that was amazing because she never was around cats until Kiki.

Took me a minute to realize that’s a finger pressing the cat’s paw to make the nails extend.

Not young enough to not recognize her.

I do have to say I think she was prettier when she got a little older, but her face was almost the same.

Didn’t we recently see a picture like this, but it was a man with the goose?

I mean, probably not the same goose… But a man being hugged like that by a goose.

I won’t whether that’s something geese do to each time other.

I found a description, but if Ms. Evtsikhevich titled it, it was placed in the ‘net beyond my search skills.

Elena Evtsikhevich
Georgia
I painted this picture when it was +30 outside and I really wanted to be in the Arctic, where it’s cold. I really love cold tones. The reflection in this cold water shows part of the ship. I really hope that those people who love the ocean will love this picture.

Today’s Songs:
1. ‘Working For The Weekend,’ 2. ‘Yeh Yeh,’ 3. ‘You Are the Woman,’ and 4. ‘You Can’t Hurry Love,’ and the ‘Cheap Thrills Cuisine’ recipe 5. ‘Chicken Arugula Rolls.’
1. Like Paul Simon’s ‘Feelin’ Groovy’ this was also inspired by a walk. It was first played at a club in Montreal and for the first time, the band had a packed dance floor.
2. Originally an instrumental and released by Cuban band leader and conga drummer Mongo Santamaria in 1963 (recording below / composed by Rodgers Grant and Pat Patrick). The lyrics for it were written shortly afterward by Jon Hendricks of ‘Lambert, Hendricks and Ross’. ‘Georgie Fame and the Blue Flames’ bumped ‘I Feel Fine’ from the number one spot (held for five weeks) in Britain in 1965.
3. Just a happy little tune I like. It was written by ‘Firefall’s’ front man, Rick Roberts.
4. Written by the Holland brothers, Brian and Eddie and Lamont Dozier of ‘MoTown’ records fame. I’ve provided a link to the Wikipedia article on them below.
5. Just looking at the recipe, I’d turn the oven to 375ยฐ and bake for 25 minutes. Fresh arugula leaves apparently have a peppery taste (I’ve never eaten arugula / it’s related to broccoli, cabbage, and kale / as far as I know I’ve never eaten kale either).

Heating rocket, eruca, or arugula removes all of its oomph.
And it may be related to kale, but is nothing like it.
More like mustard.

I’m not surprised we didn’t see Claude and Clara eating Thanksgiving dinner.

I hope there was enough left to salvage!

But there it is again… another instance of incredible lenience on the part of the Cliffords.

The last time Clara let Cleo carve the turkey??

Was there a previous time as well?

How did that work out?

But whether or not this was also the first time… and whether or not the chainsaw was a surprise….

Why in the world would Clara trust Cleo with any sharp objects?

It’s a mystery. You could even say a puzzle.

….

And speaking of puzzles….

(Now was that a great segue or not?)…

I suppose people will be looking for the solution to this one.

And guess what I just happen to have!

Do your best… this one should be fun….

And when you’ve found all nine differences, or as many as you can… which I hope is nine … you can check your solution against mine.

I’m going to put it

right here in this little box!

Sigh…. again??

Have you never heard people say on other forums that trying to correct people’s grammar, whether incorrect or a typo, is rude?

Like anyone, I do occasionally make a typo or have a slight lapse.

So do you, believe it or not.

But we come here to be friendly, and I really don’t want to start correcting your English mistakes.

…..

Besides that, in this case, you’re incorrect.

You used quotation marks; I didn’t.

Clara didn’t speak that line, and I’m not quoting her.

Nighthawks described an action in the caption.

I changed the verb form to past tense, because the action has already occurred.

My sentence with “lets” in it, instead, would make no grammatical sense.
