“What happened to my brown and black spots?

Why didn’t I get any?

(I’m kinda hungry)

My brother got some.

So did my sisters.

Why not meeee?”

(I wonder whether there’s any more kibble in my bowl…)

Yawn…

I’m kinda sleepy…”

Go to the bottom right of the video and go full screen before you start it.
The first part is what Tigressy wanted us to see, and it’s funny.
The second part? Someone should hit that kid upside the head.

This second one of yours showed up for me in Canada but is without sound, just captions, and did not have the second half with the kid and mom. Your earlier one did not open at all.
Alexi’s did show up as well, but with a different cover, and showed both of the skits.
All three had the captions.

Same for me except there were no subtitles/captions on Alexi’s version.

The captions on your 2nd, silent version are out of focus, and a little hard to read in a small window.

Clicking on its you tube link got me a clearer version, and i finally could see that they gave him the iPad.

I’d thought he was doing that to hers.

Kirk Alyn was Superman!

Even before George Reeves played him on television, Kirk Alyn played him in the Superman serials that accompanied the movie at the children’s matinee.

I know now that these little films were old by the time I saw them, but I remember thinking that he looked a little soft, and wore his belt/underwear (whatever it was… I couldn’t really understand Superman’s costume) up too high around his middle.

But I loved Superman, so I was glad to watch them anyway.

Hmmm… I’m not sure he’s allowed to be in other movies.
No, I have to let him.
George Reeves hated being typecast so maybe Kirk did too.

It might cheer him up to see its value today with its original paint/patina. 😉

Is rust considered original patina?

Have cars become like antique furniture, where restoration destroys their value?

….

I do usually prefer them restored to original colors than redone in anachronistic paint jobs…

But I’d think this one does need a little help.

The Hunchbasset of Notre Dame: The starting point for so many other great works of art in every aspect of the Arts. The impact of Victor Hound’s work reverberates through the decades in theater, dance, music, and visual arts. To say nothing of his influence on human artistic expression.

The Temptations are such a classic, and a class, act. Sine qua non.
And Love Potion No. 9 is just fun.

Oh! The HunchBasset of Notre Dame.

A tour de force role for Charles L’Arfton.

He looks incredible.

I’m told that took hours every day, getting him into makeup and costume. Luckily, bassets nap a lot.

….

Maureen O’Bark looks beautiful, as a gypsy basset.

That wouldn’t take hours, with her natural beauty.

I’ve heard that some humans made a movie like this…..

And that their poster was an attempt to copy StelBel’s.

The problem was, they didn’t have a basset star…..

so they didn’t know what to call the (presumably) hunched human, and they just called him a hunchback.

As if only humans had backs!

Humans can be so arrogant.

Yes, I do know I am one, but sometimes it’s embarrassing.

Years ago, my late sister got a couple of kittens. Within a couple of years their names had changed from ‘Tigger’ and ‘Shade’, to ‘Wiggs’ and ‘Spud’ 😉

Peach or cherry, please.

I don’t like pecan pie, or anything else with that gooey stuff, like the sticky topping on “German” chocolate cake.

I know, I know. It’s ok. You can have mine.
