I don’t know where this is, but Boston had snowfall like this some years ago. It snowed so much over a span of about two weeks that they couldn’t plow out the roads or clear the trolley tracks. There was simply no place to put all the snow. If I remember correctly, as a last ditch measure, they took to loading it onto dump trucks and dumping it in the ocean. Not an optimal solution because of all the trash and assorted pollution that was scooped up and dumped with it.

Wouldn’t most of it get into the ocean eventually anyway? Sure, some of it goes into landfills for awhile, but in the long run….

We get some snow on the beach once in a while, but that is just too much. Not for me.

How are handling the current flooding? Are you safe? I can’t tell you how happy I am to see that you are still safe and have all of the utilities needed for posting.

Interesting, there are places 3d bioprinting neurons and other brain parts so they can be studied in order to try to find ways to mimic (and maybe cure) some of the diseases of the brain. I’ve done lots of 3D printing of plastics, but bioprinting is a stretch.

In an era when even a rampaging mad scientist gone wild, with his head stuck in a sci-fi upgrade to a 1950’s radio, wouldn’t appear on a downtown street without wearing a suit and tie…

with his pocket square neatly pointed.

In fact, every man in this scene appears to be wearing either a suit and tie or a uniform.

Participate in eccentric adventures, if you must, but you must be properly dressed.

Hey, I was getting ready to book a hair appointment for my wife. Susan, is this your work? Are you available on Wednesday?

SusanSunshine

Well, I admit that I didn’t do this one… but of course I do it in my salon.

The only problem with Wednesday is that I’m waiting for my shipment of Venusian scalp extensions.

If they arrive by Wednesday morning we could start that day…. I have an opening at 11:47 am or 2:16 pm.

….

The implant process takes approximately 3 days, and of course, all her human hair must be removed first.

We should be finished by Saturday evening.

If delivery is too late Wednesday, or isn’t till Thursday, we should wait till Monday, because the salon is closed Sunday, and I don’t want to leave your wife with half implanted Venusian scalp extensions.

The total price, with your Cleo pals discount, would be $6,237.43.

Please let me know as soon as you can whether to reserve that appointment.

Buddy might be able to empty it faster.
Don’t want to find out. All that salt would do horrible things to what i have to pick up later.

Those were some expensive cars for 1936, when a top of the line Ford could be had for about $800…

And an ordinary Chevy coupe perhaps $450.

It seems to me…
Room 2… If the sign is false, the lady is in there, but she’s in a room with a sign that’s true.
Therefore she’s not in there.

Tiger.

….

Room 1.. .. if I’m right about room 2, the sign on room 1 is true.

Could be a lady or a tiger.

….

Room 3 … If that sign were true, all three signs be would be true, but at least one has to be false…

This seems to be the only one that can be false…

Therefore tiger.

….

And the lady must be in room 1.

Hooray!

Calling all Cleo friends and family…… the Caped Canines are back!

BatBasset and Sparrow are headed for adventure now!

First, they learn of world-wide thievery, on a giant scale…

How did these huge monuments disappear, without a trace???

And why haven’t BatBasset and Sparrow heard a single word about it?

Do they not have cable or satellite TV?

Holy New York Times, BatBasset!

Even NON subscribers can read 5 articles a month!

There’s a world outside the stately Whine Mansion! It’s even bigger than Got-Ham City!

Meanwhile… who stole these out-size landmarks? Where could they have even put them?

How did no one see the theft?

You can’t casually stick L’Arc de Triomphe in your pocket to hide it…. well, unless you’re a quarter-mile tall.

In that case I think you’d be noticed anyway, and BatBasset and Sparrow wouldn’t have much luck catching you.

No, I think somebody must have a very large garage… or maybe he’s building a model railroad that’s bigger than life-size, instead of smaller.

Or some kleptomaniac’s habit is getting larger every day.

I myself don’t understand that urge.

Somebody once suggested I take the Pacific Coast Highway… but right away, I knew it wouldn’t fit in my car.

I just took the next exit instead.

Meanwhile… you have to go find the world’s treasures, Bat-Crusaders!!

Oh… wait…. the Commissioner has more to say… Got-Ham City is in danger too!

I guess we have to be patient….

It’s so hard, just munching on kibblecorn, biding our time… waiting to hear about that on Wednesday.

And in the meantime… what in batnation might disappear next?

I hope the thieves can’t steal CleoandCompany.net!!

I’d miss all you guys!
