I lied on the south side of Clear Lake in the 70s.
I have friends that lost homes in that fire.
My best friend’s wife’s (also a good friend) childhood home was lost. The house across the street survived.
One of my late cats, Thomas, could look in the bathroom sink to see if there was any water in it with his rear feet on the ground, and he was a grey/white moggy. He did weigh 20lbs……..
.
Lord, what a mess.
Moo?
,
Yow! Not a good time or place for a picnic.
or for the car to break down!
Looks like he’s going pee. I know i would be.
Me too…. But with fire that close, I’d keep driving anyway.
Oh, no doubt! 😀
I hope it wasn’t that the car broke down…. and that they were able to get out!
I also wonder how somebody got the picture, and whether he or she helped them get away.

I would not walk under that.
Phew, this down-right refreshing after that blaze.

James Cameron directing Kate Winslet and a cameraman on the set of “Titanic.”
Creepy enough without that one I wish I could unsee.
here’s looking at YOU, schweetheart
,
That is a big kitty cat.
Probably 20 pounds, and AFAIK not even one of the big breeds.

I knew one that size too, years ago… His name was Bullroar.
Funny… he was a slightly long haired yellow tabby, but his owner was named Thomas.
Bullroar’s sworn mission in life was to drink all the water out of the fishbowl, presumably so he could have a fish dinner.
He’d stand over it and lap and lap and lap, till somebody saw him and chased him away.
Aww, he was just lookin’ for some
“Fish Soup”
or
“Bouillabaisse”…
I had a cousin that had an oversized cat that they named Max.
Short for Maximus Catismus.

This is apparently the Argentinian edition… one of several Spanish language editions of Rolling Stone.
International editions contain some translated versions of the US content, mixed with a large percentage of local interest and entertainment coverage.
The US version:
I will be away for the long weekend with no way to access this site. Enjoy yourselves, mind your p’s and q’s, and give a cheer for George Washington.
Have fun!
Happy trails!
miss you already
Oh noes! Here they are again!
The Evil White Cat Gang™️!
And they are truly… what’s that word I want? … oh yeah… evil!
Not just holding all those monuments for ransom… but… but… are they really going to leave them tiny??
…
Gosh… troops trying to march through the Arc de Triomphe could only move till the first soldier’s boot toe got stuck …
you could get to the top of the St.Louis Arch in one easy step… and so much more, so many mini arches.
….
Dr. Ratbreth is the quintessential mad scientist… with a dollop of evil thrown in… or perhaps a whole jar.
The EWC️™️, of course, eagerly awaits each new invention, always down to develop a dastardly deed for using each deadly device.
Being a cat, I suppose it’s he who needs the business end labelled, though, so he doesn’t accidentally shrink his kibble!
Cats aren’t well known for reading the instructions.
…
OH! I just realised… if he gets Got-ham City’s golden arches as well…
Would MacDonald’s start serving hamburgers half the size of a dime??
<<Gasp!>>
Holy Special Sauce, Batbassset! You must save the Big Mac!
Before it becomes the Mini Mac!

Did you actually try this before posting a link?
Incredibly slow, with my slow Internet, no instructions (that I saw, anyway), hard to figure out, and TONS of ads.
