Nope. Not me. That many people in one place is frightening.

I tried to find out where this was… But it’s labeled differently on various websites.

Two said it was Rio de Janeiro, which commenters on one adamantly refuted. One said Hawaii, but I doubt any beach in Hawaii is that crowded.

A few said places in China. One said Singapore.

A commenter on one site said she saw big speakers so it was a music festival, not a normal-size crowd …

But I don’t see how anyone could pick out any detail at that resolution. She may have been thinking that those buildings in the back were speakers!

I didn’t want to spend hours, so I gave up!

I’m not so sure about that – The mentioned site is a reference on some wikipedia-sites.

2013     POPE FRANCIS IN RIO DE JANEIRO     The picture nighthawks posted is in the article.
I also found it at the “The New York Times” site, but that article would not post.

Might want to break off a few of those icicles before you start pedaling away. Those will be some nasty shards thrown up at you.

If it were lying on its side, the icicles would have stopped growing when they hit the ground… Lots of these stick out 10 inches of so.

Also, bicycles usually lie down at an angle, and these icicles seem exactly perpendicular to the frame.

It seems like the bike must have been suspended, flat on its side, out in the open and at least a foot clear of the ground, when it rained.

That, or the bike somehow stayed upright during a deep freeze accompanied by an unbelievably strong, wet wind!

I’m wondering whether it was done on purpose, as art.

I’m not all that good as a judge, but I think she starts on her left, makes 3-1/2 turns, and lands on her right. Am I close? A beautiful performance, anyway, and such a step up from the early Olympics.

From my search, I think this is American figure skater Mirai Nagasu.

She was an Olympic medalist in 2018, at 24, and retired from skating in 2020.

She also shares my birthday!
Except, um… she was born a few years later than I was.

Either we did this one before, or we did another Dudas one with a hidden butterfly…

But my reaction to his butterfly representations tends to be along the lines of “Give me a break!”

Nonetheless, I did find it…

You can see it HERE…

I “circled” it with a shirt of butterfly-ish shape in red.

One again I’m having line width problems in my software. Couldn’t make it thick this time.

If you have trouble finding it, look straight up from the little bird’s head… It’s near the top, two flowers in from the left.

From Instagram:

“In 1987 an estimated 800,000 people flocked to the the Golden Gate Bridge for its 50th anniversary. The weight of the large crowd caused the bridge to sag 7 feet, flattening its usual convex shape. Engineer Daniel E. Mohn reaffirmed the bridge was not overstressed as a result of Bridgewalk ’87.”

it was in May.
No, i didn’t go.

i didn’t think they really needed 800,001.

And please don’t show her how to.

Hey, Cleo’s a girl! She’s not built to mark her territory like dogs with male DNA…but she seems to handle a bazooka and a tank just as well. So much for stereotyping.

Sweetheart would lift her leg and lean against a post.
It would still hit the ground but i gave her points for the effort. 😀

I dunno what Claude is thinking!

If Cleo is going to mark that many places, I’d much rather have signs, and even a little red paint, then have my property covered in … well… you know.
