And that is saying something! All dogs (except the poor pug) have an excellent sense of smell. They have far more scent receptors than we do and that nose has been proven to excel at collecting plenty for those receptors.
Those guys are the best.
We’re still learning the many ways they can help us. Potentially even sniffing out cancers. For all our technical wizardry, we can’t match the variety and accuracy of chemical analyses that those sniffers can do.
It looks AI, I agree. You have two tracks in the foreground, and two in the background; but they aren’t the same two tracks. The left track in the foreground becomes the dividing strip in the background.
I’m guessing it’s to hold onto while going up or down. Making the rope taut from the top (the post being to the left of the picture) provides a balance point. It wouldn’t be perfect, but a lot better than nothing.
It’s absolutely wonderful to be good at sports and a woman! Revel in it! Enjoy your ability to live in both worlds, despite the wierdo’s who try to pigeon-hole you into one or the other! Each role takes understanding and determination as you grow, but each can be just as rewarding as you grow into it! You were born with the ability to be both, revel in the fact that only you can be you!
From today’s London “Daily Mail”:
The difficult part is making the noodle pancake (even if it doesn’t work everything will still taste good). “Spring onion” is another name for a scallion.
I can see no reason not to use green onions either.
.
Mut and Jeff?
Literally.
these two breed’s noses are the top sniffers in all of dogdom

I wonder whether sniffing and drooling are related.
Maybe their olfactory sensors being stimulated by anything, not just food, makes them drool.
😀

Kinda hypnotic.

Nopenopenope…
I’ve been on worse roads with our car from the late 80s.
‘Nope’ repeated, or ‘open’ repeated 😉
Nope!
You don’t do the red-light district?
😀
ah, come on!
No way. I didn’t get this old being out on roads like that!
It’s neither a bad road nor spooky, if you consider that it’s got rather fancy electric lighting, and it’s smoothly paved, albeit in wavy strips.
At first I thought they were individual wheel tracks, but the curves end and start and merge… Maybe meant to be artistic.
I’m thinking this is meant to be a special drive, like through a park, or a long driveway.
Looks like the sort of issues you get with AI generated images, but quite atmospheric.

That’s why I thought maybe it was artistically paved.
Could be a regular painting, could be AI.
I read about an online tool that supposedly can detect AI images.
I want to find it!
Looks like a lot of leaves piled up, mebbee wet. Could be slick. Use caution, especially if you’ve only two wheels.
It looks more like a walking path in a park.
I thought so too, but then I noticed that in front it looks like it was meant for tires.

What is the white rope or cable?

Original Pagoda control tower at Indianapolis , 1935
Pagoda control tower?
Did they have a lot of pagodas coming in for a landing?
At the race track. Car track. That might even be before the bricks.
the bricks were laid down before the first 500 in 1911—3.2 million of them.
I managed to snag one —it has a date on it when it was manufactured —
1901!
Just when you thought it was safe to go back in the water.
Didn’t get the child… and IMHO an almost unrecognizable picture of the adult.
But you can see enough to realize
Nighthawks… did you cleverly tie this in today…
clever and me have never been in the same sentence
You shoulda claimed it!
“Indy” is a nice tie-in… Didn’t have to be accidental!
I really tried this time.
Thanks again Susan, I had no clue who I was looking at.
That picture makes his nose look enormous, and it’s not.
But it IS a bit more prominent in this picture than we recognize, because it’s fairly recent, and he’s in his eighties…
We’re not used to seeing him like this.
.
I have a problem with this.
Its too good.
Very AI.
Piggy-back rides! Whee!
Is this the same mama who sits on them when they’re a little older?
maybe they’re finally getting back at her
But they’re younger here.
,,,,
Is that Jimmy Olsen in the stands?
A relative perhaps, Jimmy Olsen has red hair.
That’s right! Thanks. 🙂
How about Peter parker?

Ahem… the way she’s drawn in this picture, NO one could possibly forget she’s a girl.
But the blonde young lady has a bigger problem… She’s missing an arm.
Unless Donna is missing half an arm and the young blonde lady has her hand……
just hidden–I’m going to give the artist the benefit of the doubt
We’re missing some speech balloons.
Whole story HERE.
Three cracking singer-songwriters for today’s music 🙂
Best day ever!!!
Take notice of the position of the flip-flop on his left calf… 😀
