I know you’re all wondering why I called this meeting.

Just a very rough estimate of their worth.

Driving on the left, so where is it?

Bahamas?

They drive on the left in a lot of Caribbean islands… Especially countries that are or were under British rule…

Jamaica, Bermuda, the Virgin Islands, Cayman Islands, along with the Bahamas, and more.

But another reason this car night be driving on the left is that the picture might be flipped… something very common on the Internet.

It might have even been designed for use either way… like, for instance, for the front and back of a menu… because it looks very commercial, isn’t signed, and has no visible lettering.

A distinct license plate or road sign would have made it apparent if it were used “backwards”… so they might have been left out in purpose.

The artist may have thought no one would notice the driving side… OR merely wanted to sell it for menus in both Florida and the Caribbean.

It looks like a signature in the road in front of the car. If I’m correct, the capital letter of the first name is on the left, making the image correct and the car is driving on the left side of the road.

Hmmm… could be.

If so it could still be any of those Caribbean islands.

I image searched it and only got links to picture collections, or to where somebody used it as a profile pic.

Why is Dale Arden wearing a folded-up newspaper on her head, like a four year old?

That’s all that the budget allowed.

I will admit that the phrase “Put the power on Flash!” when Buster throws a double panel mounted knife switch, might have been something I used to say when I was doing similar when at work…… 😉

Dad’s not eating dinner with the family like normal families do. The rest of them aren’t bickering amongst themselves. Nobody’s screaming at the kids. There’s a clean tablecloth on the table. They appear to be sharing and conversing in normal tones. Everybody’s wearing decent clothes. Their hair seems to be well cut and in its normal color.

True but I hope the baby doesn’t have grey hair.

So hard to tell, as a 21st century American person, what was considered wrong in the middle of the 20th century, probably in the UK.

We don’t give little kids tea, or feed the children earlier than the parents… both common in the homes of my English friends in Libya.
And young boys here don’t wear suits to dinner.

Besides that… It looks like the children are having bread and butter and cake for dinner…. Unless I missed the chops and veg.

I found most of what they’re looking for… But looking at the answers Nighthawks posted (thank you, Nighthawks!)…

I can’t see or maybe…
… don’t understand the wiper blade(or whatever) on the mirror, or what’s wrong with the shoe.

OH! (spoiler if you actually care)

I guess that’s the wire the mirror is hanging from, and half is missing?

Nothing wrong with….
The shoe, the table leg is missing.

True in part but…
No, the shoe itself is shaped for the left foot, but the foot is actually the right-foot — check out the positioning of the legs.
I agree with the table-leg as well.
But I do not understand what is wrong with the plug for the lamp, unless the “lamp” shouldn’t have a cord because it is a candle/candle-holder…

Hadn’t spotted that

About
The shoe. And yes, a candle shouldn’t really be plugged into the mains in this context.

Hmmm…

Yes, I took it for a candle, so there’s no reason for an electrical cord.

But I missed the table leg completely!

I think the shoe thing is more a question of imperfect drawing than an actual difference.

It’s an pretty symmetrical shoe, with no distinctive features of either side.

You can’t see the shape, as you could from the top…. so I could believe that’s supposed to be the right foot.

Thanks!

Amazingly, it’s still just wheat and vitamins.

I think the grain has to be cooked to make it puff, but it seems relatively healthy.

Of course, I’m sure they sell a lot more of the sweetened puffs, with tons of sugar, than plain ones.

Dunno about Quaker…
But Post Golden Crisp, formerly called Sugar Crisp, is dangerously addictive!

Note the first ingredient… I’ve read that it’s over 50% sugar by weight.

Ingredients. Sugar, Wheat, Corn Syrup, Salt, Honey, Caramel Color, Vitamins and Minerals: Thiamin Mononitrate (Vitamin B1), Calcium Pantothenate (a B-Vitamin), …

The Kellogs ones, Honey Smacks, are about the same.

You didn’t bold the third ingredient, but it’s basically more sugar.

That’s gotta be at least 100 pounds of ice.

They sold 50 pound blocks from a machine outside a store where I used to shop, and they’re not that big.
