When you’re down and troubled
And you need some lovin’ care
And nothin’, nothin’ is goin’ right
Close your eyes and think of me
And soon I will be there
To brighten up even your darkest night
Unlike so many movies where he does his own dangerous stunts, he appears to be just sitting in the seat, filmed completely separately from the trains shown behind him.
I found the posting by nighthawks on imgur attached to the date and place of the montage at the link (that photograph isn’t in the montage / it was taken by the guy the dog was staring at / apparently for the whole game).
I could not find the damned thing last night. I went over it systematically twice last night.
The first time look at it this morning the dog just leaps out at me.
Thanks, Susan. I like to search on my own, and when I cannot locate the hidden object — which is often enough– I would like to see the solution, if nothing else but to silence my mind (and some frustration…).
You have a much better eye for it than I (pun intended).
I’ve had a bit of a trial this morning. I was meeting a friend of mine for breakfast and had to leave mine by 08:00 to make it to the café by 08:45. Well I overslept and woke up late, so I was in a bit of a rush to sort out myself and make sure Ivy was fed, treated, and tucked up for the day (Which for those of us who are owned by cats know that those are very important things!). Now I have two vehicles, a Ford Ranger, and a Ford Transit panel van, and because I’m planning to use the Ranger tomorrow, I was going to be taking the Transit to give it a run as I hadn’t driven it for three weeks. Things were going well until I was two miles down the road when I lost the power steering….. I managed to muscle it back home where I discovered it had left a snail trail of hydraulic oil along its route. It looks like either a hose has split, or the pump has lost a seal as there wasn’t a puddle where the van normally stands, but the trail led away from there, so it looks like the leak happened when I started the engine.
I ended up taking the Ranger, and had to phone my friend to tell him I was going to be about 20 minutes late. I’m fortunate that I have two vehicles as we’re having a family gathering tomorrow, and I haven’t seen most of them for a year or so.
The breakfast was good, as was the chinwag myself and my friend had, I’ll leave getting the Transit seen to until next week.
I’m back to working seven days a week. And i have six days to be out of this house.
This is the thanks i get for being a loyal employee for ten years.
Retirement can’t come soon enough.
The office says that the other caregiver with “my” client is now helping someone else and there is no cover.
No one want’s a six am start? No one want’s to do a six pm shift?
No one can do a mid day shift that takes less than 15 minutes.
Am i spewing sour grapes?
Retirement can’t come soon enough.
That is not fair! What happens when you CAN’T? There are times. You NEED to get moving time off. You need it as badly as the client needs a care giver.
I’m appreciated. I’m also being overused for that reason. They know i wont go at this point. June is coming soon enough, and they know they can’t use me then.
Happy, No, not sour grapes. I think it is succinct to say…
With your retirement pending in June, they will continue to abuse you, they know that you are not about to leave now, hence, the abuse. Just like a retiring politician, you have lost the power to influence and to steer the way forward. Frustrating as all hell. All I can say is stay the course that you personally have with your clients — but this I know you know, you are a kind and generous and honourable man.
I remember how excited you were back when you got this gig. The van and the decal. Promising times back then. Promising times coming, in June.

Even when you have messed up and have to go stand in the corner, the dog is still your pal.

Nine-legged spider?
This one makes a lot of left turns.
…
There he is!
Another puzzle?
That’s a lot of stairs. Some of these peoples’ legs must be in excellent shape.
When I tried to search this image, I discovered that it’s a popular choice for AI.
I never would have thought so…
But this is probably one of those… sigh…
Note the faces, the lack of some of them, and discordant sizes of others.
I can’t see his face, but it could only be one guy!
Harold Lloyd?
Mr. Keaton in one of his later films.
Another scene from “Sherlock Jr.. ”
The train bit comes close to the end.
Unlike so many movies where he does his own dangerous stunts, he appears to be just sitting in the seat, filmed completely separately from the trains shown behind him.
Those four were in a movie together?

Seattle Sounders game? (Ivar Haglund was a Seattle Institution.)
Awright, Mariners. (I don’t do sports…)
That could be Ichiro on that mans shirt. .
Hope not. that stuff stains!
“Lookin’ for some help with those fries?”
OTHER DOGS AT THE PARK THAT DAY
I found the posting by nighthawks on imgur attached to the date and place of the montage at the link (that photograph isn’t in the montage / it was taken by the guy the dog was staring at / apparently for the whole game).
Does the ump know his seeing eye dog is in the stands?
“Oh no! – My Ex!!!”
find the doggie
Yep.
I mean “yip”!
Bunnies! (Sorry, Happy…)
Nine Bunnies!
Found him!
Me too, me too!
Right here by my side.
I mostly stopped posting solutions cos everybody seems to be finding them on their own.
Also my sleep hours keep changing, so sometimes I’m here late.
But I’m happy to post them if anybody wants them (IF, of course, I did solve them.)
I do have one for this time… I’m going to go ahead
But what about after this? Anybody?
It never hurts.
I never did find that bat yesterday–so, yes, post answers
Thank you! I’t nice to know when i’m right! 🙂
I could not find the damned thing last night. I went over it systematically twice last night.
The first time look at it this morning the dog just leaps out at me.
And I AM posting yesterday’s (find the bat), as well… in response to what I will call a plaintive cry for for help 😁.
Looks kinda like one…(Purple doesn’t help but i have very few colors)…. and also the closest thing I found to a bat.
Though yesterday I said it looked more like a toy one or a cookie.
Did anybody find a different bat? I didn’t see the baseball kind, either, or cricket.
thanks!

Oopsy Doopsy!
I found the bat, don’t worry… but I just realized today that i made a small coloring mistake…
The strange round things aren’t part of the bat, they’re the toes of the frog feet below.
I knew that when I found it yesterday, but somehow forgot last night when I was filling it in.
Not much of an excuse, but I’m working on a small screen, and it was late.
Our cat approves.
Not directly on the food, please.
but it’s so warm and toasty!
Ehhh, what’s a few more cat hairs in the foods that I eat…
Just another “condiment”…
I’m sure that i get some from the cat, but it’s the dog hair that flavors my world.
…kitten…
😀
I told you that there was a very wet Willy coming!
That’s so good i had to steel it!
Can’t be very hard to escape if he doesn’t have a head.
Those are nice to keep things like eyes in. And ears. Brains…
Truth in advertising!
This is just weird.
Yes! Yes it is! 😀
This is one where a warning to turn off (or turn down) the sound would be useful.
Gotta wonder whether the loud “turtle call” is just coincidental, and it would have swum by anyway.

Retirement can’t come soon enough.
You can’t get any vacation days to move?
Or do you not get any, being hourly?

Glad you’re so well appreciated. /s

I’m not making my point very well.

Don’t destroy your own health before June; retirement is whole wonderful new world.
