It looks like it could be from one of the Doo Dah Parades. The one from Ocean City New Jersey is especially relevant, as it features the Annual Basset Hound Waddle.
I didn’t see any obvious or funny errors, like in some of these types of puzzles… no ducks wearing boots, and I don’t think that’s an apple on the roof or a sausage on the ground.
Beyond that, it’s very hard to tell artistic licence and/or minimal use of details from deliberate errors.
For instance is that a front license plate, and was it even meant to have a number on it? I’m betting no, so I’m not proposing it.

There’s no destination on the bus sign.
I don’t see any windshield wipers… but some fold down into a groove when they stop, and you can’t see them.
No rearview mirror?
Shouldn’t the door be open when she’s that close?
And of course, we’re assuming this is in North America… If it’s England, the bus is on the wrong side of the street, and the driver’s seat on the wrong side of the bus.

Taxi cab work is about the most abusive way you can operate a car, they don’t last long. An exception is the white roofed, yellow cab in the background, it appears to be a checker motors cab. Checker motors built ultradurable cars designed to be taxis. They were painted per the customer fleet requirements (so mostly yellow in NY). They were not only durable, but quite spacious in back.
One of my now ex exes started a very small (1 car) cab company in southern CA about 20 years ago.
He’d been driving for another company but thought he’d do better on his own.
They don’t require a medallion there so anybody can do it, after s background check.
It was before Uber so there were regulations, though.

Ever the inpatient and incautious type, he bought a car at auction, and paid almost $2,000 for the modifications required to make it a cab… paint job, signage, better tires, a roof light (luckily removable).. I don’t remember all.
But he failed to notice that cabs there have to be under 10 years old.
There were delays getting the work done, and by the time it was ready, it had less than a year to go.
He thought maybe they wouldn’t say anything (yeah right) but when it turned 10, he immediately got a notice in the mail.
End of cab company.

BTW Where I’ve lived the Checker cabs were checkered, and used for Checker Cab.
Old ones, bought at auction, were prized hippie and counterculture family cars.
Besides, cartoon leaves are much more loosely attached than real leaves, and a good cartoonist who’s all paid up on his dues gets access to a special leaf lever in the basement.
Don’t imply that Nighthawks hasn’t paid his dues.

I know I badmouth Gocomics frequently , and deservedly so. But I am grateful for the years that they provided anybody with the desire a venue for their inner-cartoonist self.
With folks adding videos and images in the comments, it was really special
It was for a while a great place, an admirable idea.
Family squabbling apparently killed it.
People not liking it or not wanting to allow something just because someone else did.
Discontinuing the image and video links was one thing….
Their space, their rules.
Didn’t like it but could put up with it.

Ending their hosting of the forums was a nasty move, denying exposure to cartoonists who had worked very hard on building a following.
Not too bright, either, IMHO…

Luckily we had set up Ballard Street as a hiding place.
But pulling the whole rug out from under their faithful … and paid… participants was a truly heartless blow.

As near as I can tell, this is the 2019 “Maple Leaf Parade” in La Crosse, Wisconson.
The parade is part of the city’s Oktoberfest celebrations.

She works in digital and A.I. art.
She is also an illustrator.
