The diagonals make the rout longer. To go from one vertical pair of windows on the top two floors to the next there is one horizontal space. Whether you go straight across and then down, or diagonal and then up, you still have the same number of vertical moves. So the only difference is the length of a horizontal step vs the longer diagonal step.

Working on it. Enrolled in a Biogen clinical trial to test a theory. If it works, it will help people everywhere. Still sweet and loving, but I have to answer the same questions a few times. Maddening at times, but worth every minute. I’m sure you and MMM feel the same way about each other.
Yes we do! Keep me posted on this clinical trial, my Friend!
I have just been diagnosed with Parkinsons Plus this February. Doctor says I have 3 to 5 years. So each day is a pleasure. It, too affects the brain. MMM has been like you!
Well now THAT, as we used to say in the old country, bites the Big One.
Good for you for trying to make something positive out of a bad situation. If you can help science find answers to these questions, you contribute to the solution.

Busch Memorial. The 1966 All-Star Game at the new venue would showcase not only the game’s greatest talent but, also, the St. Louis summer at its scorching worst. After the National League labored for 10 innings and a 2-1 victory in 105-degree heat, honorary NL coach Casey Stengel was asked what he thought of the new Busch. “It holds the heat well,” he deadpanned. At least the 75-year-old Stengel made it through the day without suffering from heat exhaustion; 150 others within the stadium weren’t so lucky.

You forgot 5. She wants to pay her bribe, too. Hopefully he had a heavy cup to carry around.
Yes… I agree with PerkyC.
My route was exactly as given in Nighthawk’s answer. or you can go in the other direction, cos it’s the same…
except that I didn’t skip #5.
That might make it shorter (though not really, cos you have to go right past it anyway)…
But it’s cheating!

After years of running the Tiki Bar… I know you gotta keep an eye on monkeys!
Easy, Jocko just goes through the door and takes the elevator.
The reason NH didn’t include #5 was she was already dead……..see the knife sticking out of her back?
I missed that ‘little’ detail. You could be right ~ she wasn’t hearing the music.
Accepting that the monkey can’t do the diagonals between the windows
09 → 05 → 01 → 02 → 06 → 07 → 03 → 04 → 08 → 12 → 11 → 10 → 09 → shoulder
