And it is amazing ow well those brown eyes stand out in that sea of black.
I bought Buddy a bag of bandanas in different colors and no matter what color i put on him, is looks good. Basic Black goes with everything.
I’d say early 1940s, while we were still involved in WWII … Gas was still rationed till the end of the war, in 1945.
Today, we wouldn’t give those skirts a second glance… but at that time they were considered skating costumes, not street wear.
The men are probably more interested in such short skirts being worn in the middle of town than in any message about saving gas… And the women know it.

I guess we don’t need a spoiler box for this one either.
I did find a quote from Robert Warner himself describing the picture:
“Early in my time at Fox I was eager for exposure and became known as the “test boy.” That is, I would play the male lead opposite any actress being screen-tested for a potential contract. I tested with Marilyn twice: once when she first got her contract at Fox, and another time in 1951, when we co-starred in Let’s Make It Legal. Marilyn and I had no actual scenes together in the final film, but during our test, she seemed slightly nervous.” —Robert Wagner.

This looks like his view. The engineer sat behind the pilots and controlled the engines & props. In the very front you can see the Norden bomb sight used by the bombardier.
.
I know that look.
Usually when he’s crossed some line and he gets s scolding.
Or when he’s trolling for a treat.

Bunch of men and one woman, who looks less than amused.
I can’t find a date for this other than “1940s.”

Not to mention the tight blouses.
I would assume these young women were members of a roller derby team, and this was simply a promotional stunt.
I tried, but I couldn’t find this one.
A for effort
A fun nun!?! Stop the presses!
The below caption comes from HERE.

Trying to think of the old movie and the star?
…. a nicely done (IMHO) retro photo spread taken of her with several pugs, in a 2008 Italian Vogue.
Must be feeding time at the aquarium.
???
Must have been an umbrella from “Kingsman”.
Apropos:
A fun (and understandable even without knowing Korean) public service announcement.
Thanks.
LOL 😀

Pop was both an in flight engineer and a mechanic on that when he was enlisted.

Yup. That was his job. He said that it might have made him a better pilot after he went through OCS & OTS and got his wings.
It looks like there are slugs all over it, so I wouldn’t worry about a lone snail.
Before of after you put on the dressing?
Before or after you put on the dressing?
Ew…. I’d rather not.
Only if the salad was actually served to me. Then I feel pretty confident that I’d find it.
That crunch between your teeth?
and finally
And that right there is why you change your underwear young man!
And your starter for ten……! 😉
