If he ever gets there, I certainly hope they ask him to play…

I thought he was trying to get home afterward.

In which case I hope someone has a place for him to stay.

I’m sure someone will have a place for him… There’s always room for cello.

If anyone does NOT know who these folks are and what they are performing, I’ll be surprised. But: we see here, L-R,

SPOILERS
Jean Stapleton (Edith Bunker), Rob Reiner (Michael Stivic), Sally Struthers (Gloria Bunker Stivic), and Carroll O’Connor (Archie Bunker) in All in the Family.

Nope, don’t know any of them, or the show. Another one we didn’t get over here.

It was actually “based on” the premise of the British show, “Till Death Do Us Part,” but from what I’ve heard, very much toned down.

Archie Bunker was much less racist and bigoted than his English counterpart, he and his wife, Edith, much closer, and the family were quite comfortably middle class.

It was still funny, but not the same.
American shows tend to play it “safer”.

“‘Till Death Us Do Part”, which is part of the wedding vows over here, is the show, “‘Till Death Do Us Part” is a 2017 film.

Alf Garnett was quite a character in the series, I’m not that surprised that the US version was toned down somewhat.

“Do us part” is usually the way the wedding vows go over here, though I’ve heard both…

I guess that makes the mix-up.

I’ve only seen clips… but I think the US version was toned down a LOT.😁

I’m no expert, and certainly no seaman, but I’d say these folks are between a rock and a hard place.

Wow.. after checking the video link, I still searched the picture.

It seemed so impossible!

But yes….

this is…
Tina Turner…

I’d say she looked younger than this when she first became famous.

But she finally got this old again… then lived to be 83.

According to my search, this photo shows some officers of the Boston Fire Department, training dalmatian fire dogs(who knew!) in 1942.

It was taken by famed photographer Alfred Eisenstaedt.

Clara bears it gamely, but she can only take it so long.

How long? I guess less than a foot long.

You’re right, that really doesn’t make sense,… all i know is she can’t give them an inch, or they’ll take a foot…. and she doesn’t want to play that game.

She’s about to put her foot down.

She wants them to toe the line and stop being such heels. But once those two are instep only their arch enemy (Evil White Cat) can stop them. Quite the pedi-cament for poor Clara.

Bless my sole!
You do seem to have a foot fetish!

Tread carefully, or Clara might sock you, too.
