DOES look like a Where’s Waldo puzzle, but better rendered.
Not sure how this was put together. It reminds me of a video game type rendering. it’s kinda strange. There’s very little depth…all of the vehicles are
in profile
or maybe a computer did it. I can’t easily tell anymore
Actually, I had a cat who could walk between tiny porcelain figures on a shelf without mishap and liked to drink her water from an old stemmed wineglass.
It only meant that when there was a broken glass on the floor she’d batted it there on purpose.
Google tells me it’s the Imam Reza shrine, in Mashhad, Iran.
Besides the remains contained in the shrine itself, the large grounds encompass a famous mosque, a library, a university, several seminaries, and a cemetery.
In 1948 a new Pontiac styling included triple Silver Streaks, a horizontal grille theme with vertical shaft, and round taillights. The word Silver Streak was carried on the sides of the hood with eights having an 8 placed between the two words.
Those were so nice to work on. Lots of room to reach everything, but cars then needed more work. Drove me into designing stuff instead of fixing it, although I can still spin a ratchet in my advanced years. Taught me a lot about design for repair as well. Now, if I was designing people…. Maybe that’s why I never became a surgeon, either. 😉
Ray Milland and Paul Douglas… in a scene from the human version, as Nighthawks posted above.
Not using a spoiler box because I don’t expect anyone to guess. Apologies if I spoiled anybody’s fun.
I mean, I do know Ray Milland in some pictures, but this is different from his usual suave characters.
And it’s not as if they were as recognizable…
ssssss
.
A golden basset.
Lovely face… And his eyes look blue!
Maybe they’re green or hazel… Cos he’s young, but too old to still have puppy eyes.
What’s the original version of “Dumbo” called again?
Yeah, it looks like he could fly if only he had a “Magic Feather”!
Anybody beat me? I got zero…
A few of the singles look familiar, but I don’t have any names. The two couples bottom right look to me like they include
I never thought of them looking at all alike, but I guess they do, a bit.
As far as I can tell, this isn’t pairs of people, but the same people, older and younger.
I don’t recognize many, but I’m pretty sure the first two in the second row
Wait a minute! Julie Andrews… Angela Cartwright… boy in a Tyrolean hat… Yes!!
I think the bottom couple at bottom right
And I’m guessing ”
“Now” not being recently, but some time in between the movie and today.
I can’t say I know the others by looks or name, but overall it looks right.
bingo
..
Fredric Pohl is a big name in the silver age sf stories.
I was going to say that also-written some SF novels too, I think

Haven’t found Waldo yet either…

For some reason it looks like a jigsaw puzzle.
IT HAS BEEN MADE INTO ONE
I figured that when I saw it last night.
I wonder what it is that gives off jigsaw puzzle vibes.
Maybe I’ve seen it, or other puzzles with this person’s art… but I don’t really think so.
Maybe it’s just too “decorative” looking to be “fine art”?
All the even, bright colors, edge to edge, with no focal point or faded background?
It just doesn’t look like something you’d hang on the wall.
ha! Susan called it
yeah, like I just said above (before I scrolled down here)-it’s strange…I can’t explain it very well. it seems flat somehow
but still, it’s cool
Okay, so only an artist could love it?
,,
Nice of somebody to bring the kitties big mugs of warm…. um… whatever that is.
Looks like warm milk with kibble. 😁
For sure they’ll be fastidious and won’t knock over the mugs, amiright?
Well of course.
Cats are so dainty.
Actually, I had a cat who could walk between tiny porcelain figures on a shelf without mishap and liked to drink her water from an old stemmed wineglass.

I can’t imagine mowing that.
That’s what goats and Heidschnucken (heath sheep) are for.
Like our front boulevard growing up — I tied a rope to the handlebars and pulled the mower up and down!
Atlantis?

Yeah, I guess they aren’t canals after all…
..
Good looking pup.
Which one isn’t?
If he’s got any sense, he’s hiding from those foxes.
Weirdly drawn or maybe cut and pasted images of the same animal… A fox?… some overlapping so they’re hard to distinguish.
I did find one animal that doesn’t seem to be the same as the others… but honestly, “squirrel” is a stretch.
Is this …
Where’s his bushy tail?
That’s him!
In my back yard. Fawn keeps trying to catch one.
.
The view looking out of the Nighthawhs’ restaurant…
Only if it’s moving.
But the names are similar!
Nightriding, by Lauren Zaknoun.
More on the artist LAUREN ZAKNOUN (edit: I didn’t see you, Susan)
S’ok.

Beautiful.
Long nose, unless it’s the angle… But maybe a straight 8.
Sigh… Now I gotta look.
Yup. Straight 8.

Not if your plan is to redesign your patients! 😁
Well, they ARE a bit messy inside (and sometimes outside, too). That’s why I stayed away.
I have an earworm. Not a bad one to share.
This one is on my setlist. I usually lump it with “Mr. Bojangles” and “I Never Will Marry”.
Sort of an exercise in three-quarter time.
Waltz away! 😉
