This is Nouakchott, the capital of Mauritania, on the west coast of Africa. According to Wikipedia it’s one of the largest cities in the Sahara.
It was a.smallish village when it was selected to be the capital of the new nation, in 1958, and construction started to accommodate about 15,000 residents.
In the next 20 years it unexpectedly grew to half a million, and there are now close to a million and a half.
I don’t see any tracks along that vertical line, but if there were any, you can certainly see which side would be the wrong side of them.
Accepting 1,300,000 miles/hour as the speed of our galaxy, at the time of her birth on April 16, ???? Susan had added another 11,395,800,000 miles to her life’s journey through this universe.

And now I’m starting to wonder why they’re using a T. rex blueprint to build a Brontosaurus skeleton?

Did a load of other greetings get taken down? There were a bunch last night. I sent you an (old) card!
They’re still there!
Thank you!
Old UK advert for Guinness Stout.
Funny that the Guinness drinker is pulling a Clydesdale…
While in the US, ads for Budweiser (weak as water by British standards) show a team of Clydesdales pulling the beer.
