I was on last night before anyone else had posted and found, A NEW WORLD’S RECORD: one difference.
I looked forward to Susan’s side-by-side (quite disappointed that it wasn’t there at 10pm EDT yesterday ;-). But even with the side-by-side I only found 4. Oh well, now that I’m a workin’ man again, I can’t spend more time on it. So, off to the answer key. (and thanks, Susan, for the side-by-side & answers).
I’m going to go ahead and post the solution a bit early.
I don’t want to be held responsible for anyone pulling out his or her hair, when my fellow hair-stylists and I need you to keep it, for the sake of future salon business.
…
Just please allow a little extra time for those final differences to pop out at you…
Well, of the five I missed, Three I can understand missing and the other two I am still missing. I don’t see the difference even with the red boxes showing me where to look.
My questionable find was a pixel glitch (it wasn’t the “white dot” which I also missed).
Having said that, I run a 22-inch monitor and I still do not see the two official differences that I did miss.
The WordPress programming has been mixing things up for me as well.
Here’s “The Lovin’ Spoonful” on Ed Sullivan with “Do You Believe in Magic” (written by John Sebastion). I like this song better than “Summer in the City”
Puzzle Saturday and I don’t have a clue this week. If I had any, I’d be pulling my hair out. Maybe the side-by-side will help. In the mean time I’ll be over there in the corner in a fetal position.
National Klondike Day! Woohoo!
Son and D-I-L are headed to AZ for a weeks vaca where it’s 14 degrees cooler than here in IL this morning.
This being the two-four weekend in Canada (although many breweries have gone to fifteen and jacked the price) the type of cooler celebrated is a bit different as illustrated in the attachment below.
It’s 14 degrees cooler here in AZ than IL?! Wow wee!
We already had some triple digit days this year, but, considering it gets up to 120 in the dead of Summer, even 100 doesn’t feel like death. Well, maybe like a miniature death.
and as a tribute to all of those reasons this is a special day, I will NOT fry my Vanilla Pudding but I will put it it my cooler and later enjoy it, by myself, on a road trip to Chicago to buy a musical instrument, all the while sipping on my Paloma cocktail.
I never did encounter anything maritime on my road trip far from the ocean.

It’s amazing how much fluff is stuffed inside those toys. Moxie was also a killer of stuffies when she was younger. Finally grew out of it (maybe by the time she was 10 or so). She even managed to destroy a Kong once.
How can I possibly be here first? This is way too much pressure. I can’t find diddley squat without Susan Sunshine’s side-by-side.
i agree.. I only found 2 with a quick glance. If I ‘think’ too .hard, I won’t be able to sleep.
See all y’all later.
(glad to see you kept the RED button theme, NH)
….
It doesn’t look like it’s gonna stop anytime soon.
‘specially in that GIF
To go with nighthawks’ GIF; and yes, it is Georgia. The main focus being the S.C.A.D, theatre at 216 E Broughton St, Savannah, to be exact.
great little song to listen to as I peruse the comments.
thanks!
How is the ink ever gonna get dry?
Imagine picking up your photos and the packet is soggy and dripping.
You open it to find it full of water.
I could see Mr. Bean doing that. 😀
Wile E. was inspired casting. Just the opening two gags had me sitting here, by myself, LOLling around.
What’s a Saturday without at least one classic cartoon?
I’ve got 7 for sure and possibly eight. The eighth could be a pixel glitch.
On this one I’m going to admit defeat on the final two or one depending.
OK kids… Puzzle people and the breathlessly waiting….
A side by side for you:
…
Got home late, thinking it would be OK, cos I had the puzzle stuff ready last night…
Just to see that somebody … somebody who will remain Nighthawks…. ooops, I mean nameless of
course….
had replaced it.
…
So… it took even a little more time.
However… it’s still a little weeny bit earlier than it was on GoComics.
…
Time for me to redo the solution….
And BTW… your eyes do not deceive you… there’s a bit more of a challenge to this week’s entry.
Good luck and happy solving.
WordPress has been messing with me… doubling and tripling my post…
I edit and remove some… but it comes back when I refresh.
Then it posted without the image.
I THINK I’ve fixed it now… I’ll try to check back and make sure.
Woof! I can only find six if I’m lucky. Plus I think that in one panel Cleo smells a rat, and in the other panel she smells Claude.
I’m stuck at 5 and out of patience.
Ignore the tiny white dot in the street next to the headlight
but DON’T ignore the tiny white dot near the center of this image taken from Saturn…….that’s dear old mother Earth—
awesome!
eensy!!
It really IS blue.

I got on before bedtime last night, made my own side-by-side and still only found three! I’m up to six now, but the day is young…
So I found nine “things.” How many are right, only Susan (and maybe Nighthawks) knows for sure…
Six. 😢
Seven, dang it! I’m out of practice.
OK…
My previous post seems to be doing OK now…
I’m going to go ahead and post the solution a bit early.

Wow… See my post… you must be psychic… 6 hours before I posted

Finally…
…here’s Wikipedia on the autoharp.
Of the 4 I missed, I still do not see 2.
Oh, Poop!
Did Clara put the “do not touch” button there just to tease Claude?
Good morning, Cleo Phans!

We’ve had 3 days of non-stop snow!!! We got more snow than any of our snow days all winter. We get today off, and then a bunch of rain
Silly me, I almost asked where you live. Then I used my detective skills.
don’t let her fool you. she lives in Cleveland next door to the Cliffords

No, I was wondering why America would have a National Day for a Canadian territory…
LOL LOL LOL
So far, I’d have to say that that was the funniest comment today, in my opinion!
I only got 7 this morning. The two I missed? An easy one and a hard one.
My dog, Death of Plushies, killed another one. It was supposed to be a “big dog” toy. Riiight!
it looks like a crime scene photo– is this the suspected perp?
Such an innocent face!
Ha! You don’t know her! I’m sure she practiced that look when she was a puppy.
She looks perfectly innocent to me! Well, the more I look at it, Hmm!

Hmm, tough one.
Yes, only got eight and it took me two days and I starred at the one I missed and never saw it, Nighthawks outdid himself this time!
