The truck driver who made an illegal U-turn in Florida and killed 3 people, was given a commercial driver’s license in California even though he couldn’t pass the test and couldn’t speak / read English (or, at least American English).
Gee, the bus driver that that just killed 5 in NY could speak English proficiently. Your theory that English skills = good driving skills seems a bit shaky.
He’s doing well… A truck driver was slightly injured at a level crossing in the Czech town of Frydek-Mistek over the weekend. He allegedly failed to follow the signs and his trailer was literally crushed by a train, according to a video posted Friday on the town’s official Facebook page . The footage has been viewed nearly 1.8 million times in less than 72 hours.

You gotta wonder whether the driver was careless or drunk…. or whether it was the signal that failed.
I see red lights facing us.
Hard to be sure they were working correctly the other direction, facing the truck.
I couldn’t catch any reflection of red light in the truck windows, but that doesn’t prove anything, cos we may not be looking from the right angle for that.
But I still think there should be a crossing gate. There are red stop lights and tail lights and other visual competition with those signal lights… But a black and white arm blocking the road gets your attention.

And his muzzle is too short, as well.
