Yes it is

but to clarify…
They’re on the set, not in a scene from the movie.

My search confirmed my guesses … and probably yours… that the guys on the bike are James Coburn, James Garner, and Steve McQueen, but no results identified the one standing behind them.

I think it might be John Sturges, the director, looking a bit thin

OMG…. 8 times the tar, 8 times the nicotine, in one convenient death wish!

At ±$10 nowadays for a pack of 20… or so I’m told…. loading up this puppy would run about four bucks for your 5 or 6 minutes of coughing pleasure.

If you smoke the same number of times a day, your one pack a day habit would become eight packs… and go from $300 a month to $2400.

What a deal.

It seemed odd that

the third fellow
Danny Kaye
would be standing there with
the other three….
Clint Eastwood, Buddy Ebsen, and Fess Parker.

So I searched it….

And they were

all appearing
on the Danny Kaye show, in 1965.

They’re gonna have to come up with a definition of “mistake” that I’ll buy.

Not, say, that something is supposed to be a different shape or color according to a rule they’re not telling.

baconboycamper

My take…
What I came up with is that the colour “yellow” is missing in this kaleidoscope of natural colours.

SusanSunshine

Hmmm….

I’m thinking….
.A lot of people, including me, purposely don’t use yellow for a list like that because it’s too pale. It looks like holes in the text and can be illegible… so we use light orange as a sub.

You could also say purple isn’t a natural color, bright orange and ultra violet are missing, or that brown is not a rainbow color like the others.

Meanwhile, like I said, there’s no rule, so it’s hard to say any color is a “mistake.”

The only thing that I spotted is…

…going from left to right. The colour of 1 and 9 match
so 2 and 8 should match but do not
3 and 7 match following the pattern
4 and 6 do not match but should
5 is central to the count and could not have a match.

The 4 and the 8 should be the same color.

But if you’re saying the pattern should repeat, then the 5 should be the same color as the 1 and the 9.

Me, it’s a great webcomic, I’ve put one of my neighbours onto it.

I’m currently working my way through the archives (Again) of ‘Carry On – The road to Rackenroon’ Which is a webcomic about Hyenas (No Really!). Great characters and storytelling, and the art is also top notch.

‘Carry On’ can be found here:
https://www.hirezfox.com/km/

with the archives being at
https://www.crosstimecafe.com/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=15303

The first strip being
https://www.hirezfox.com/km/co/d/20040701.html

There is a link to the Cast just below the Banner.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The strip starts off in B&W line drawing and is very different, story wise, than when Kathy’s visitor (The Lieutenant) arrives and tells her of her heritage.
The first part of the story, The Wedding, is not really part of the main story. It can be safely skipped if you can’t get into it, I did struggle with it as some of the characters come from other strips and it’s assumed you’ve read them and are familiar with them. It made a lot more sense now I’ve re-read it after reading the rest of the strip (And ‘Freefall’).
You can safely skip forward to 15th June 2005 and pick up the main part of the story, and then you can go back and read the beginning later.
Three days a week Mon-Tues-Wed.
Well, they look very nice…. but it isn’t really good for sparrows to be painted with regular acrylics.
I hope he’s using feather-safe paints.
What color were they before he painted them?
