This particular kitty looks very displeased about its present circumstances. It also appears primed to vent its displeasure on whosoever it encounters once those circumstances have changed. Would not want to be there.
I’m not quite sure what you mean by a hatchet face… if you mean lean and sharp-featured, no…. But I do see a dog’s head in the whole central part of the mountain.
Brown dog, white muzzle and blaze, black nose, short, folded down ears, with one eye closed, and his mouth turned down.
Drawn like a tough little dog in an early 20th century comic, one I’m sure I’ve seen and can’t quite identify.
More than three frogs here last night then…big rain storms, thunder showers. Woke us up (me ‘n the pooches) several times. Fortunately the hounds I currently have aren’t bothered by thunder.
No… candy stripers were young hospital volunteers, usually still in high school, who usually wore red and white striped aprons or pinafores, which could be different for different hospitals, and did strictly non-medical tasks.
A couple of girls in my high school were candy-stripers. It had nothing to do with the government, and they didn’t get paid.
The CNC was a WWII program to actually train nurses… The government paid for speeded up nursing school, and the women (AFAIK it was all women) had to commit to a certain amount of time in service when they graduated. I know some were public health nurses; some may have been army nurses.

like able to wrap his arm all the wayaround a house
I estimate our videographer has only to wait around for ten minutes before enjoying a display of extreme atmospheric adventurism. (S)he should at least think about battening down some hatches.
On my desktop too. Word Press actually fixed a bug in their system to allow the site owner to post animations as if they owned the site? A tip o’ the cap to someone.
me too. I try posting my animations up on top as usual and for the last several months it’s been a futile attempt…until yesterday when Stel’s Psycho poster began animating as it should.

“Just when you thought it was safe to go back into the bathtub…”
Not very friendly looking.

Blue eyes?
Tinted contacts. They’re all the rage among tigers nowadays.
Rare, but genetically possible. Usually in white tigers, but not only.
Frank
?
Sinatra?
Thanks.
Silly me.
..
Ah! Much friendlier!
Peek-a-boo!
Just checking to see if there’s a full house yet, or are people still finding their seats?
“Yep, they’re all here I can smell ’em.”
You can’t seee me!
…
Am I the only one who sees a “hatchet-face” in the snow on that mountain?

I see a hatchet in a face. That’s what you meant, right?
Hi…. Welcome!
I’m heading to Bath, Maine next week. Hopefully I’ll get to see some of these colors.
I see those colors right here in California.
Only… you know… not on trees.
….
…..
Billions and billions of books….
So many books. So little time.
I can dig it
,
“I want to know, have you ever seen the rain coming down on a moony night?”
Great… give me an earworm.
Well…. you can have it too.
It was a dark and stormy night.
“Well it was! Just look at it!”
,,
I want her on a t shirt.
They’re out there.
And without the junk from Fine Art America printed on them.
If it was a poster in 1960s dorm rooms or 1970s counterculture living rooms… and this certainly was… it’s on a T-shirt for the Gen A hippie revival.

Three Frog Night?
If a 3 dog night is when it’s really cold, is a 3 frog night when it’s really wet?
More than three frogs here last night then…big rain storms, thunder showers. Woke us up (me ‘n the pooches) several times. Fortunately the hounds I currently have aren’t bothered by thunder.
Buddy takes notice, but it doesn’t seem to bother him at all.
Fawn is still a question.
Bud-wi-ser
Hang on guys! The cavalry’s comin’!
,,,,
Isn’t that a candy striper?

She reminds me a little of Bellamy Young.
My aunt became a nurse during World War II. Trained in quonset huts because the program was so new.
,
I think I’ve seen that restaurant before…
Quite Hopperesque.

I can only be on a Facebook page for a few moments because I’m not on Facebook.
But I did see that it said he’s a “digital artist”… which means this is most likely AI,
stealing from… I mean trained on Hopper’s work.My point exactly! (And I have the same Facebook situation…don’t like it, don’t go there, unless there’s a reason.)
,
Well, that’s rather inconvenient…better plan ahead.

I’ve got to admit, those guys are a bit weird…
Yes! Yes they are!
Do you know what they are called? Are they even insects?
My guess would be some kind of jungle cockroach.

So a relative of the lightning bug!
Gone over to the Dark Side….
yes, thanks

Isn’t that a popular name for a lady wart hog?
I’m not sure that what i’m seeing is the answer. There has got to be something better.
We’ve done this one.
I remember it… and what you’re seeing is probably correct.
I couldn’t believe it either
I happen to know that several of the ladies depicted are, in fact, named “Daisy.” So the assignment is moot.

I would be looking for a deep hole.

Why is the picture all blurry?
I don’t know what you did, but i can see the animation on my laptop.
On my desktop too. Word Press actually fixed a bug in their system to allow the site owner to post animations as if they owned the site? A tip o’ the cap to someone.
Wow, yeah…. I was so used to them working in the past I forgot that they haven’t worked lately.
I hope it keeps up!

Bet this one runs faster than my basset hounds 🙂
I love this strip!
The animation and the perspective drawing as much as the “plot”.
It’s the next morning and the drone is still flying!
