So Claude didn’t learn his lesson on Wednesday…. here he goes, pushing that button again.
Cleveland sure must be an exciting place. I’ve looked and looked, but I’ve never found one of those buttons around here. The question is…. if I did, would I push it? Would YOU?
After seeing what happens to Claude, I think I wouldn’t. All right, I know I wouldn’t. It’s not just that I’m kinda… you know… attached to good ol’ Earth, and the 21st century… I’m kinda more attached to not being stranded on some distant planet, or in the Jurassic, or whatever.
Anyway… we’re not seeing where this button press takes our heroes… I mean, our hero and heroine… but there’s already a difference in their world. Actually, nine of them.
See whether you can spot them all…. then feel free to compare our results….
Feeling a lot better today, I’m on the road to recovery. I will say that this strain of Covid is like the ‘flu in turbo mode, two weeks of ‘flu in five days.
My recommendation is you all avoid it where at all possible.
I had covid 2 years ago… the only time I’ve had it. It started out like the flu, but milder. They put me on Paxlovid, and in 5 days it was gone. I felt so lucky!
My doctor truly believes the fact that I’ve kept up my covid vax plus the Paxlovid saved me, because at my age plus a medical condition I have, I would have been a prime candidate for severe symptoms, hospitalization, and maybe intubation.
Now, we, too, have a new, and supposedly more virulent, strain going around… but they allowed me to get a new vaccination that covers it (knock wood) when I got my flu shot 2 weeks ago, even though it hadn’t been a full six months since my last.
I feel lucky about that too!
This reminds me… Mr. Sherman, if you see this… I hope you read, or will read, my answer to your reply about the flu vaccination a few days ago… I think it was the 9th.

Meduxnekeag Valley Nature Preserve in Western New Brunswick
Been vacationing in New Brunswick lately?
Just a day trip. Had all of five seconds there as I had to be back in Suffolk (UK) before my coach turned back into a pumpkin……..
The actual fact is I found four pictures online and thought I’d share them. One more to go.
You flew all the way across the Atlantic for a momentary visit?
Why fly when you can use the power of imagination and cartoon magic! 😉
Well, i can’t see the puzzle on my laptop.
Do you it see it today? I take it you’ve refreshed a bunch by now.
Claude & Cleo must have just left the repair shop across the street. Cleo got her annual tuneup.
That sign cracked.me up when I was solving the puzzle.
I didn’t remember seeing it before.
I meant to say so in my comment…. thanks for reminding me!
