He’s not telling.

I have a feeling the oven door was part of the process… and maybe he knows something about how it just happened to fall open.

don’t encourage my cats to counter surf, St. Bernard. At least the turkey in the oven is still in the oven.

Better take the wrapper off that turkey before you try to cook it.

And the giblets out.

I noticed that too… And that at least the giant pup didn’t eat it

That is one determined pussycat.

I don’t see how she, or he, could possibly have known that clawing at that hanging bundle would release a curtain to climb..

But if s(he) did, we have just been shown that cats can not only use tools, but theorize about how to get them.

We seem to

be having….
an unofficial Claude Rains festival, lately. That’s him standing at the left.

Okay, I should have recognized all but one of the others… but I think this is a rather bad photo….

when I can’t make out that
it’s Jimmy Stewart, standing next.

The other three are…

Frank Capra (who I guessed correctly, even though he manages to look rather like Frankenstein’s monster here), Jean Arthur, and Edward Arnold. He’s the one I wouldn’t recognize anyway.
Besides his being unfamiliar to me, his son was actor Edward Arnold, Jr, sometimes called Eddie, and then there was actor Eddie Arnold on TV, and country singer Eddy Arnold (unless they were the same person.)
Yes, some have “ie” and some have “y” and sorry, but I’m too tired to look them all up right now to get it straight. But it’s confusing!

They’re standing…
in front of the real Capitol Building, during the making of Mr Smith Goes to Washington.

I recognised second left straight away, but it was only after reading your info that I realised why the guy far left looked familiar…

Besides Claude Rains, my favorite actor, I recognized Jimmy Stewart and Edward Arnold. The movie is indeed Mr. Smith Goes to Washington. I watch it from time to time on TCM.

I’m happy to watch Murder on the Midnight Express over and over… And the Maltese Basset… and Perroâ„¢… and Batbasset…. you get the the idea 😀

As for human movies… Bringing Up Baby, The Maltese Falcon, It Happened One Night, Citizen Kane… Cabaret, Rocky Horror… how could you ever watch them enough? There are a few others. And some I’d watch several times, but maybe not as often as those.

Yes… the Kowloon Peninsula.

In my search, I saw this picture with the same captions posted here….

However, most sites didn’t have them. It’s seems that “1950s” was actually taken in 1964, and “Now” used to be now, in 2016.

Dunno whether “now” would look different in 2025.

The wording here is rather nonsensical…. maybe a bad translation from some other language? Still, I think you can get the meaning.

Among other things, it obviously has nothing to do with a personality test, and I think they must mean stare continuously, not repeatedly.

If I do that, relaxing my eyes, it starts to split into two images, as most images do. If I hold it at exactly the right angle, which is very difficult, they overlap in the center and I get a tiny area of 3D.

Other than that, nothing changes… I don’t know who “they” are, who perceive circles… But I see nothing at all rounded. Anybody?

Yep…lots of circles.

Hint:
Look at the vertical lines between two squares…that’s what worked for me.

Okay… Thanks.

If I squint at it, I can see the circles you guys are talking about…. one at a time, or sometimes I can make a few appear at the same time.

They don’t just show up for me when I stare at the image, or all of them at once.

Speaking of nonsense…. well, I was, somewhere up there… I just had to save this picture so I could inflict it I mean share it with you all…

It’s from an online article I didn’t really mean to read… I’d been told by a neighbor that she was told that we can’t put clear, amber colored plastic pill bottles in our recycle cans, so I tried to look it up to see if that was true…

Somehow I ended up in an article about 15 (or some number) of stupid things you can do to “recycle” them… only they didn’t call them stupid, and I don’t call making useless objects out of them “recycling”.

This was the highlight. The author called it clever, beautiful, and Bohemian, and mentioned its soft warm glow. I call it…. never mind what I call it. Anyway, it you can’t tell, it’s a lamp. Made out of instantly recognizable plastic pill bottles.

You’re welcome.

I am not being political here.
I’m posting this because you have got to admit, this is funny!
The hero that Portland needs!
By the way, for those of you that don’t know, Portland Oregon is a bookstore surrounded by restaurants, coffeehouses, and microbreweries. (Powell’s Books)
The unofficial motto is Keep Portland Weird for a reason. .
