You’re supposed to know!
You’re the one who dances with ’em.

Only I think you might have made a mistake this time .. cos this one looks mighty like a non-milker, if you know what I mean.

Yeah it saves paper… by destroying your drawings.
Sniffle.

I remember crying as a very small child because I couldn’t save my picture… I not only had to erase it, but then let my baby sister draw on it.

Later I liked them, but not when I was too young to understand.

There wasn’t nothing there when it was built I would guess, and then, as they say, “The Winds Changed.”

It’s known as the Ksar of Draa, in the Sahara, in the Timimoun region of Algeria.

It’s origins and uses are disputed… I looked at several sites and they had different stories.

It’s about 1000 years old, and may have been a fortress, a dwelling, or according to some sites, most likely a caravansarei, a sort of hotel for travelers, because none of the rooms inside are interconnected.

The Sahara was criss-crossed with camel trails and trade routes, so traders stopped in protected places to sleep or to escape the harsh sun, and exchanged goods.

As late as the early 20th centuries, the area was home to Arabs, Berbers, and a significant Jewish community, which probably settled there in the 15th century, fleeing a war elsewhere, and then fled again in the mid 20th century due to a rise in Arab persecution.

Oddly, neither archeologists nor the locals agree on its history.

We haven’t had one of these for a while… though we did have this one before….

I remember cos people were surprised to find out

that was …
Elizabeth Montgomery…

starring with
Charles Bronson, in the 1961 Twilight Zone episode “TWO”.

You’re right – I’m surprised. Amazing transformation with the makeup and her demeanor.

Of course, to me Bronson looks about the same as he always does.

He always looks the same.

Some actors are famous for transforming into different characters for every role…

I think characters transform into his persona.

Ha! For sure. I remember a Twilight Zone episode with William Shatner in it. I was thinking the same thing then.

I don’t even see how he escaped… Maybe that cabinet got hit and pushed him out of the way?

I also wonder whether that car was being brought in for a brake job…. Just a few moments too late.

But not the famous restaurant or the hotel chain.

Or the pizza.

I’ve had one of those, in an Italian restaurant, not a pizza place…. It was great.

Unfortunately it’s almost unknown in the US. If you order a four seasons pizza, you get a blank stare.

American pizzas are usually sliced into sections and shared by the whole table, so the toppings are evenly distributed…

Unless, one person likes or doesn’t like a certain topping, in which case you can usually order, say, half with anchovies, half without.

There is no such thing as half an anchovy pizza. Pepperoni is similar. The flavor simply spreads out over the whole pie.

Oh – it’s late on the east coast but here on the left it’s still quite early. So a belated Happy Thanksgiving to everyone, and I’m not too humble to say the turkey I cooked today was the best I’ve ever done. Let the leftovers begin…

Don’t think just because he’s little, he has a cute little puppy howl. I’ve heard a couple. Those guys are born to be loud!

Hang on…..

Okay… Have a listen. I warn you: I could only take a minute of it, so I don’t know what the rest sounds like.
