I really want to think this picture is real, and it might be.
But my sensors are kinda tingling….
Do these things matter?
1) The very odd cat(?) nearest us, on the corner of the building?
2)The crisp, dressy fedora the man is wearing on the ladder?
3)The modern look of the car at the foot of the ladder?
4)Or that it looks like there might be other cars crammed into some of the too-small fenced enclosures across the alley?
I found the photo on a couple of Facebook and a couple of Instagram pages… but most of my search results linked to other pictures, even if this was the thumbnail. Strangely, most were the photo we saw yesterday.
Nobody was calling this AI … But nor was anybody suggesting a location or year, or crediting the photographer.
I’m not getting both comics on my laptop. I was kinda surprised that i was getting any comic on it. So your comment made absolutely no sense to me. Then i looks on my phone. Now i see both comics.
So to answer you about the top comic, Penelope explodes every morning. After all, she is really still just a kitten. Everything is still new and fun. 😀
Bodley’s exquisite 1898 pulpit in Canterbury Cathedral. Constructed in memory of Dean Payne-Smith the angels include carvings of the Annunciation and the Crucifixion. The two figures on the balustrades are St Augustine and St Gregory or possibly St Paulinus.
LOL…
Where is the mouse that should be lying on the cat?
Do I want to know what’s going on here?
Looks like an “All-You-Can-Eat-Seafood-Buffet” to me.
in this case the polar bear is a scavenger, of a whale carcass washed ashore
I knew I didn’t want to know… But I just had to ask….
Love the literal minded…
Mark’s in the Navy. Am I right?
Cake Wrecks, I bet.
Love that site.
An extremely high-priced photo.
Still looks like the view out my back window!
Horses and buggies??
Wow.
Missing the squirrels, though…
Oh, what a tangled web we weave …
“The man in blue explained…?”
Has to be.
There are too many “he”s and “the man”s in it with no indication of which is which. And “the respective owner” makes no sense, either.
The fellow in red doesn’t look 42… Of course, the photo could just be added… not the actual people.
Not that I think there were actual people.

There are a lot of suspect things about that picture.
They look like a train running along a track.
Looks like a pretty good way to get them some exercise. Tastier bacon and ribs..
But less tender.
Nice execution of the zipper method.
Some drivers could learn from that.
The Pigball Express?
Sausage links!
This is

I knew it was James Whitmore.
find the nutcracker
Just print a dozen copies of this, grab some Scotch* tape, and tape them together….
Bingo…. wrapping paper.
Okay, you’re right, it’s a lot cheaper to just get some wrapping paper at Dollar Tree.
But this is cute, Christmas is Thursday, it’s cold and rainy or snowy out there, and you’re feeling kinda cranky…
Do you really wanna go to Dollar Tree, or stay home with a cup of hot chocolate and some Scotch* tape?
*I know, I know… Apologies to 3M.
Yup! Just had to enlarge it to be sure.
The real hard part is getting back up.
“You said it would be fun”.
Ukraine has one that spews thermite. 🙁
Don’t let her find out.
A kitten??!!

Least she doesn’t (AFAIK) spew thermite.
Santa is totally unprepared for a cute little doggie like Cleo Clifford.
Um…. so is the world, actually.
Good thing we love her anyway.
And so do Clara and Claude. Right Claude? Er…. right?

1898 and we’ve already forgotten who they are?
So Graceful….
As some have said here before….
Any landing you can walk away from…..
(Hoping he could, anyway. I’m guessing it was only his pride that was wounded.)
Probably a banged-up beak too…
