And more than a little irritating. Where I worked, we once sent a return authorization to a Lowe’s Home Center for something they had special ordered but the customer didn’t purchase. Instead of the product being returned, we received (via UPS 10 days or so later) someone’s leftover wonton soup. Very, very moldy and stinky. And we still had to give them their money back because they swear they shipped us our part. Another time they shipped back a box of wallpaper. Not enough to do my home, mind you. I might have been okay with it then. At least for that one I can almost convince myself it was an honest mistake. Decades later I stay out of Lowe’s unless I have absolutely no other option.
