In tonight’s… er… today’s … puzzle, you get a glimpse of the fine neighborhood where the Cleo and Company headquarters is located.
There a guard at the door to keep out the wandering zombies… what they won’t tell you is that it also keeps out the riff-raff, ie, bill collectors, WordPress representatives, and any disgruntled readers of the strip.
Nighthawks has a fine office towards the back, as far as possible from the front door, and other employees are treated very well…. (I have to say that, or they won’t throw any scraps down to the little room I work in…. the one in the basement that I share with 37 captive cartoon characters.)
Don’t talk to that fellow in the window… he has nothing interesting to say.
Honestly, the cafeteria is… um.. . very nice, I hear.. but the toons enjoy visiting the food truck outside for something a little more upscale… I’m not allowed out to try it personally.
