“After the female has deposited 20 to more than 100 eggs in her clutches, the male fertilizes the eggs with sperm”.

Wait a minute, what are these clutches you speak of? I am not sure if this sounds like fun or not.

I don’t care what anyone says. That frog is flipping us all off with two hands.

I don’t know what’s happening, but this is the second time the bottom video “extra” has been listed as unavailable.
The first time was on July 19th with “Please Come to Boston,” and today “Funky Town.”
I posted “Funky Town” on June, 3rd using this U.R.L. https ://youtu.be/PqiZ_gryYUQ , and it’s still up and running.
The U.R.L. you’re using today is https ://youtu.be/F2y0koXg0DQ and for some reason, it does not work on my computer.
Whether it’s the same performance posted by a different Youtube user, or a different one I don’t know because I can’t see it.
I’ve added an attachment showing what I’m seeing.

I looked at your link and it is an elegantly sufficient 3:09 minutes with actual video. With the Nighthawks link I just have a still cartoon image.

I’ve seen the same thing happen on a few other videos (but was able to get to them as the top-listed following video).

I checked the U.R.L. it’s the same video I used on the 3rd it’s the best one I found too.
It wasn’t until today that I realized that Lipps Inc. was a play on lip-sync.  —comment image

This was long before Milli Vanilli though.

Claude, put on your seatbelt. Better yet, put Clara in the driver’s seat.

That poor innocent kitty! Better not let Perky see today’s ‘toon! (if it was the EWC I wouldn’t be as upset)

I like Dennis’ idea………let Clara drive!

Yes! I used to like Cleo. I’ll forgive her since she missed. They need a responsible adult to drive that car. Not sure where they can find one, though.

If you’re feeling ambitious you could make your own Vanilla Ice Cream.
This seems simple enough.

From:
“The Farmers’ Almanac Cook Book” (Originally: The Ohio Farmer Cook Book )
A BOND WHEELWRIGHT BOOK
A POCKET BOOK SPECIAL
Published by: Pocket Books New York 1965

VANILLA ICE CREAM III

Set refrigerator at coldest point.***
Combine 2/3 cup sweetened condensed milk, 1/2 cup water and 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla.
Chill.
Whip 1 cup heavy cream to a consistency of custard; fold into chilled mixture.
Pour into freezing tray and cover with waxed paper.
Place in freezer section of refrigerator.

Notes from me:
Use real vanilla, not artificial.
Heavy cream is whipping cream greater than 35% milk fat; it’s readily available.
*** As the setting-up takes place in the “freezer section” (the book is 1965, remember) just make sure your freezer is working.
On a quick search I couldn’t find any description of a “freezer tray,” but I’d use a square glass casserole dish covered with a weighted cookie sheet.

Ice (cube) tray.
And the consistency doesn’t have anything to do with real vanilla ice cream.
My mother used to make something like that when I was a child. Horrible. And fattening.

There are a whole lot of moths that are colorful and gorgeous. Unfortunately, in my backyard, the only ones I see all seem to be of the dirty white variety. Check this page out, though….

They make up for that later – dirty, stinky, infested with fleas, wood ticks and internal parasites (which often are life-threateningly dangerous to them, e.g. lungworms).
Still cute and manageable after a long, thorough warm bath or shower (with a soft stream. Only water.
I’ve rescued quite a lot of them over the years – too small ones (far less than 300 grams) over the winter, injured ones (fireworks from New Year’s Eve, dog bites, nearly drowned,…) – best food for them? Cat food.
Always have open water in your garden (a bird bath on the ground is enough) and there will be hedgehogs. If you have any kind of pool or pond: be sure to have a shallow shore there.

As an aside — porcupines do not shoot quills out of their body. The quills break off after they’ve pierced someone else…

Those are beautiful. I’ve seen a few of them in my time. I don’t like moths all that much becauses they flitter around and get in your space….and face.

I have no patience with moths, either. I think if I saw pretty ones like in the link, maybe I’d like them a little more……eh…maybe not. LOL
