I love seeing the two posters. How clever of you! The only problem there is that it was $1.00 in 2016 and there is no way it would still be $1.00 in 2021. Maybe Angel “Fish” Bassette did some finagling.
Wouldn’t it be fun if they really did have the dog paddle? That would be a big hit with me.

@ SusanSunshine

From yesterday.

Actually, you do have the full comment menu bar available to you upon editing.
The rules governing its use are even more weird after the fact, so I won’t try to explain them at all because I still don’t understand them all either.
To bring it up move your cursor anywhere within the comment you want to edit.
You will then see a “gear” icon directly to the right of the    thumb up / thumb down / reply    line (see attachment).
Left clicking on that gear (at least on a PC) will bring up a box reading “Edit.”
You must move your cursor to the box before left clicking again to bring up the editing function.
You do have more options than the “Click to Edit” box brings up (I’ve used the gear a few times), but as I say I have yet to fully understand the rules so I’ll leave you to decide if it’s useful to you or not.

Right you are, thanks.

The weird thing is I could swear I have used it before, but then I couldn’t find it again….

so I convinced myself that it only showed up before refreshing and getting the “Click to Edit” button.

But no… you actually have both options for editing… and that one is better than “Click to Edit”….

unless you want to delete your whole comment, which can only be done via the latter.

Well, to answer the posed question of the 2021 magazine cover if she doesn’t, it won’t be because she isn’t noodling away at it.
As brassy as she is though, I thought she was going for a ring.

Very basic, but it gives a pretty good idea of where things are going in the field of robotics.
It reminds me of my four early Global Positioning System guides published by Trimble from 1989 to 1993.
Solid information leaving you wanting to learn how to “push the buttons.”
Another good find.

The way they edit out all the pauses makes these videos hard for me to watch. 2 minutes is about all I can stand.

Well our favorite Basset has been practicing her dog paddle for 5 years now. She’s gotta come up with the gold this year! Great rendition of your poster, Stel. (I still love her swimsuit)

Glad to hear that Angel is poised for a comeback…

in dog years, you would think she’d be almost aged out of competition, but there she is, as lithe and svelte as ever a basset could be…

Her powerful tail a-wag for balance…. her nose as wet and eyes as bright as any a pup’s.

That red, white and blue belly makes you proud to support the US basset team!

Egads………I thought Angel was played by Cleo. I didn’t look at her coloring until your comment…

Awww, you never know.

Maybe she’ll continue to exercise, eat right, and maintain her prowess well into doggie old age.

Just look at Jacky Russell Lalanne…

A smaller dog than we humans realise, he was still lifting weights, at 1284 in dog years!… when, as his last big stunt,

he dogpaddled with his paws tied, towing at least a dozen rowboats full of bigger dogs from the shore of Long Beach Harbor to the Queen Mary, in Southern California.

If Angel, aka “Fish”, eats right…plenty of raw kibble… and follows in his pawsteps…

We may see her still competing in 2025 and beyond!

I wouldn’t be surprised!

Or you’ll keep her posted…. so to speak.

Or … maybe you’ll just keep posting her.

We’ll see how she holds up.

There are, apparently, more verses (I’ll leave the reader to find them because they make even less sense, no bad words, and this is listed as “official”).

Some years ago, when my lids were young and we still had our cabin, the kids and I would make lasagna together. My son helped with the fresh pasta, catching it as it came off the roller. My daughter was proud to be the “Stinky Cheese Girl.” Alas now I have succumbed to the ease of Costco ready-made. But I swear I will get out the pasta machine again one of these days.
