I do apologize, but no.
I could not find an answer online so I’m doing a nighthawks-rebus / picture-puzzle-type-solution; let the solvers decide among themselves where they may or may not be by common consensus.

The picture is from his “The Widow’s Broom.”
There is currently one copy available at one of my library’s branches.
I’ll be there at 09:00 hrs. opening.

It’s a children’s picture book.

You may need more to read.

I was at the library at 09:00 hrs. as I wanted to be, but “The Witch’s Broom” was nowhere to be found.
The library’s internal system agreed that it should have been there, but it wasn’t (that branch has quit listing “The Witch’s Broom” altogether since my visit looking for it).    ☹
I’m number one in line for one of the eight copies extant; one is overdue from October 12, and the next is due October 29. If one comes back today, I might see it by Tuesday of next week, but more probably Wednesday (if one comes back).
Such is life.

Oh boy oh boy oh boy oh boy! Another serialized drama from C & C studios! No doubt this one is designed to bring us right up to All Saint’s Eve. Boris Barkoff was superb as the creature in this one.

Ok, so in the original basset version…

it’s the monster who’s “Frankenbasset”?

I should have known the humans got it wrong!

From yesterday.

1963, actually

Another table lists the…

…TEN LARGEST FOOD-STORE CHAINS (AND THEIR SALES AS OF 1961 …
… World Books’ source: “The Fortune Directory,” August, 1961 / I’ve edited out the numbers of stores, founding dates and Headquarters cities)

1  Great Atlantic & Pacific Tea   $ 5,246,578,000

2  Safeway Stores   $ 2,468,973,000

3  Kroger   $ 1,870,290,000

4  American Stores   $ 1,011,489,000

5  National Tea   $ 855,841,000

6  Food Fair Stores   $ 771,172,000

7  Winn-Dixie Stores   $ 721,532,000

8  Grand Union   $ 604,274,000

9  First National Stores   $ 536,486,000

10 Jewel Tea   $ 512,832,000

Since World Books’ source appears to be a magazine I’m guessing the sales figures listed are annual.

What happened to your Chucky’s girlfriend comment?
I could see it shortly including the fitting remark 😉 and the “Waiting for approval”.

I didn’t need to see that. I don’t like those movies. I just learned that the movie bought ‘Chucky Day’ to promote their new series. Whatever works, I guess.

That’s what wood choppers are for. – You know; those things Cleo tries to lure squirrels into and gets a “Confound it, Cleo!” for by Clara?

(yawn) Anyone remember “Joey” aka “Making Contact” (1985) which was inspired by “Poltergeist” (but was much lighter) and inspired “Poltergeist 2”?

Apropos scary movies with happy endings:
I highly recommend “House” (1985) and “House II: The Second Story” (1987).
Part 3 is not worth watching despite William Katt.
