An interesting (to me, anyway), trivia site about CRACKER JACK If someone said there is proof I’ve eaten 20 boxes of “Cracker Jack” in my life, I’d be surprised (believe it or not, my sweet tooth does not extend to caramel popcorn / I do like peanuts and peanut butter though).
Somebody ate a lot of CrackerJacks! Not me, I never liked them. These look exactly like what one would expect for free. Except that baby climbing a golf club on the far left is kind of interesting.
How many more of these 10 (there’s more if you look) ‘Lipps, Inc.’ recordings you can get through I don’t know, but as far as I know, ‘Funky Town’ was the only recording that charted (#1 in 28 countries by Wikipedia). Looking at the personnel picture of ‘Lipps, Inc.’, again from Wikipedia, I began to think the video I, and nighthawks, have posted at various times wasn’t ‘Lipps Inc.’
Apparently it isn’t. It is credited to ‘Doris The Pins’ in another version of the video above, which I have posted below the personnel picture.
I’m bringing these two over from today’s Ripley’s. We should all be as “up” as the guy in Caledonia’s offering to the joke quorum today; and not go looking for reasons to in the second one by Pearlsbs.
