I tried that a while ago, hoping it might take me to my comments on yesterday’s missing page one… But… Sigh… No.
Therefore, the only conclusion we can draw is — is in an extradition haven so the United States’ Internal Revenue Service can’t seize the vast amount of tax he owes to the United States’ government because he didn’t properly report his revenue from “Cleo and Company” (I suspect that amount may be higher than both Leona Helmsley’s and Willie Nelson’s combined). 😁 😉

I did my first posts here tonight on my tablet… had dinner, booted my computer… and it decided to install Windows 11 without asking me.
The download had failed the other night, so I didn’t know it had ever finished.
It’s OK now, but it took a while before I could use my computer… and when it finished, my screen was upside down.

I know you can fix that with a setting… but that’s hard to
find, on a slightly changed operating system while your screen is upside down…
If I just turned the laptop around so the top of the screen was on the bottom, facing me, the keyboard was up in the air, facing the wrong way.
Took a while to fix that too. But I did.

Then I messed around trying to find Page 1 from yesterday… gave up….
Went to my GoComics profile and read some of my notifications that I’ve ignored lately.
Found a reply from 3 days ago to a comment I made over 9 years ago(!) on “Pearls Before Swine”.
Some kid … has to be… who’s apparently just discovered the joy of trolling on the internet.. has been following me (and a few other people) around, mostly in old comments.
He probably doesn’t realise we still get notifications.
His user name is “error_404_ name_not_found“, which I suppose he finds clever.

I bought an eee-pc very early.
Worked nicely for a long time, but slowed down over the years due to all the (necessary, security-wise) upgrades for Windows XP. More memory and a larger SSD (so easy to install!) didn’t help, either,
So I stopped using it for a couple of years until I decided to install Ubuntu… still perfect compact computer for traveling. Pity that the battery packs don’t last long anymore, but apart from that…
The fourth quarter of the Bengals – Chiefs game is about halfway through.

I pick the games up at the U.R.L. below. It’s very much like the movie site in that you have to click through the clutter before reaching the game. I’ve never had any problem with the “Not Secure” warning.
I don’t know a whole lot about this, but it would seem to me that if someone was recording a game to watch tomorrow or later in the week, they might not want to know scores that were made at any point. If people are at work today, they might not have the luxury of relaxing and enjoying a beer (or whatever) during the game as it’s in progress. You rarely can go wrong by using spoilers.
