If it weren’t for the tail, the tongue, and the muzzle whiskers, I’d think they were bronze.

I’m not sure what’s going on in the top one.
Somebody threw a brick, which you can still see in flight, through the window.
The resolution is bad… I can’t tell what’s happening with the white hatted guy nearest the window but I don’t think it could have reached him yet.
Maybe he turned his head sharply and lost his hat?
The fellow in back seems to have turned his head to see it… but it’s hard to make out the details.
There must be a story, or a relationship… Maybe a time line?
I haven’t a clue, either……I’ll post less ambiguous Nighthawks apes

Are we looking for a list of unrelated things…. In which case some of those phrases could describe more than one thing.
Or the name of a group or category of things… In which case what do we do with the individual answers?

They exist… But these guys look enhanced.
I’m not familiar with them. Are they just ‘sharpened’ or have they actually been altered?
nope. not photoshopped —I forget their name, but ‘ape’ and ‘face’ are in there somewhere
They’re monkey-face orchids…
I’ve seen lots of pictures of them, but never with the facial features so sharply defined.
I used to post them on Ballard Street for our monkey sheriff.
I did see a site last night with this exact picture, though, so maybe it’s not retouched.
Amazing.
Monkey Orchids are a thing. Do a wiki on them.
