Ok, thanks… So the upshot, for those staying here on this page, is that it’s a teensy baby sturgeon, probably of a species that frequents Baja California, where this was taken.
It will be blue when it’s mature, not transparent, and perhaps a foot long.
My guess is that the reproductive and possibly some other organs are as yet undeveloped, and too small to see.
I’m sure all the equipment is with the person taking the picture and the guy in the photo is most likely an experienced climber and to me, the wall next to the ledge seems to be recessed away from the ledge up to where he’s standing. Yet the crack on the inside edge tells me it could break off anytime between the next few hundred years and NOW!
Some of you will probably go out to the ball park…
But some will be like me, and stay cozy at home.
Sometimes you just wanna make yourself a hot dog, pop some kibblecorn… pop a brewski, too, if you do that… maybe a Coke if you don’t…
and settle in as though you were at the stadium….
but minus the yelling fans, crying puppies, and speeding stray balls.
For me, another benefit is this is over in 90 minutes or so, and has a plot to follow.
….
I haven’t seen this one in a long time…. but I remember it being pretty funny, if corny.
A chemical reaction creates a kind of rubber that’s repelled by wood….
perfect for “hitting” bassetballs amazing distances, of course…
which turns a nerdy professor into a bassetball star.
(Gee…now that I think about it…. that seems like an obvious precursor to the “Flubber” created in a much later Dogsney comedy….
which just may have kinda sorta “borrowed” the idea.)
…
Jeanie Pawters is so adorable in her little blue skirt, and well… no getting around it… obviously purplie eye shadow….
The female on the human poster is no match!
Don’t know why humans even tried copying a movie where basset hounds are gleefully whacking and chasing balls in every direction!
….
Humans just just swing a stick at the ball, one after another until they hit one… and then wait around for other humans to throw it back… and they politely take turns running.
Not half the funny bedlam of a bassetball game.
Stel’s poster and the basset movie are way better!
Make sure you’re renting or streaming the canine version!

It seems to be my day for articles.

bring ’em on!—I’m dependent on you guys to help me out with some of these images I post that have no explanation
Now that is one helluva red tide!

Where’s hi/her digestive tract?
That white line straight down below the gills?
Reproductive parts?
It doesn’t look like anything at all happens in the clear part of the body.
An article about this:

Surgeon, not sturgeon. An ideal practice specimen. You can see what you’re doing before you cut…
..
That is daddy. Mommy is in the hole with the chicks.
I didn’t recognize the child, so after I saw her as an adult, I googled other childhood pictures of her….
I wouldn’t have recognized her from those either.
I knew the adult… But even there, I thought the picture wasn’t as recognizable as some others.
So before you look at my spoiler you might want to take a look at
In case you still don’t though….
I’ve seen her in several {of the things she does}, but still couldn’t recognize her in any of the pictures.
I got the adult, but not the child. I was thinking of someone else perky with great cheeks.
Minnie Mouse?
Frequently (including this time), I can only think of child stars when seeing the childhood pictures.
Definatley in the cheeks
Could it be
Kind of sad…
🙁
Bummer
Awww…
Nope.
Nope, no way, not even with safety lines and a parachute!
Yikes.
Please don’t make me look at it again.
I guess I’m just not an adrenaline junkie.
I’ll never understand doing this.
Looking from a secure vantage point… Sure.
I do understand the difference between pictures and real life.
But risking death for it?
Um… No.
I don’t think I can say it loud enough – NO!!!!
“You got yourself into that position. You can damn well get yourself OUT.”

No thanks.
“Most likely…?”
If he’s NOT an experienced climber, he’s really an idiot!
😀
Got it!
The funny thing is, if you look carefully, you’ll see that whatever part you take for an O is open, and hardly defined.
The Fs are quite incomplete..
But our brain fills it all in, even if we don’t realize it.
What a timely poster!
Ok, now we know spring has sprung.
It’s bassetball movie season.
